Why lie?

If you did not see a provider & wrote a review to gain a VIP membership this is pathetic.  Providers who offer an extra half hour, or promise a whitelist for a 10/10 review this is unjust.  I love TER, but this is just becoming sad to see 10/10 given out, like free condoms at the clinic.  Providers who do not report fake reviews are allowing these TER guys to appear to be good clients when they are not.  Please attempt to be fair in this unfair world if not this community will suffer & the safety level will no longer be here.

it's like the OP is complaining about mongers like...himself.  And dissing reviews like...his own.  I've seen and been with some of your 9s and 10s and didn't like them very much.  WTF, ILOVEMYSELF?  Why don't you start your own review site, only for guys who like silicone and botox and...themselves?

Mitt Romney openly lies in the first debate and as a result people now think he is presidential material and could win the election.  Lying is acceptable in our society.  Lance Armstrong became a gazillionaire by lying and cheating.  He may got caught but he will still be very rich.  Some people still support him!  There is a growing list of people who taint society for their own gain.

And there are benefits to lying in reviews.  Free VIP.  Favor with bookers.  Discounted rates.  White listings etc.  Ethics and value mean nothing to people who can gain something through dishonesty.  It's the lessons we've learned from paedophile priests, crooked senators, a bad justice system, corrupt cops and on and on and on.  We get what we deserve because we are all complicit in some way.

Some may not review those with whom they have had
less than a stellar or at least a very good time with.
It may be an error omission but sometimes it's difficult
to hurt a provider's business and all reviews are subjective
to some extent.

.....to those who give fake (high scores or bad), exaggerated or retaliatory reviews.

the problem if the grading scales were could be further graduated into tens of a point. It would likely result in my own reviews being a half point or so lower. If I am torn between two numbers I almost always go with the higher of the two.

Yes.  I do agree.  A decimal graduated scoring system, would help to close the grade "Chasm" and the perceived "Quantum Leap" between a 7 and 8, or a 8 and 9 or 9 and 10.
Looking at my reviews, I have to admit:   I have been guilty of giving an extra appearance point, to a provider who has given me a mind blowing, brain cell destroying experience.  For me, it doesn't work the other way around.  I don't inflate performance ratings. A Hot Performing Chick, is a hot performer, irrespective of appearance.

I have never been an active reviewer, so I have always paid for my VIP membership. I quit paying for TER after too many experiences where reviews/scores were fabricated/inflated, to the extent that there was no point in even reading them. I have a pretty good sense of who's real and who's not, and a reasonably good network of people to suggest reliable new opportunities. Paying for TER just ended up feeling like a waste of my money. That's my $.02.

They includes fake reviews by hobbyists seeking VIP, self reviews, reviewers who are proxies to providers, bookers and agencies, malicious reveiws to get back at competition, provider who changes agency or by clients attempts to go beyond the menu are rejected. Then you have the providers who badger clients for 10/10 , I have saved suck text from an Asian non K-doll whose unethical practices were exposed on this board early this year.

The problem with this OP is not the message but the messenger . Based  on his posting and reviews history one has to question his true motives. His lack of consistencybborders on hypocrisy and years of demeaning posts and insulting descriptions of K-dolls is both offensivev , demeaning andvwhose intentions seem to provoke dessention .

This discussion should take place on the Suggestions and Policies Board

RESPONSE TO Run away Grade Inflation

Recently I posted about being pissed after a 7/7 experience who had many 9/10 reviews.    I received two types of replies ... 1) how could you do that to her, you must be a jerk   2) yeah i met her too and I agree but just moved on.

group 1) some LITERALLY stated that their attitude was that any girl that works hard and lets her meet me thus deserves an automatic 10 because she was nice.   group 2) many stated that they were tired of the reviews and now depend on private messaging to a handful of other guys they trusted.    There was also an attitude of since she wasn't a 9/10  why bother writing a review at all, I am just going to move on.

thus the reviews are weighted to 9/10 reviews from a select number who give 9/10 ratings to girl after girl.   Since a 10 is "once in a lifetime"  its hard to understand how someone can post 30 such reviews.

IMPACT
This hurts the hobby in the following fundamental ways:
1) It does not reward excellence - the wonderful ladies who make an extra effort to be special -  thus a girl who goes to the gym 3 times a week - takes time to primp and wear exquisite lingerie - prepares her boudoir to be immaculate - lingers afterward in the after glow - and demonstrates true enthusiasm for the experience - from someone who is just nice and performs intimate activities.
2) Does not encourage everyone to stay on top of their game.    if a girl is going to get a 9/10 while having a messy bed and not taking care of herself, why should she bother.   Recently I have experienced that several times.
3) Rewards mediocrity
4) Wastes hobbiests money
5) Keeps funds from those ladies who truly deserve it.
6) Reduces legitimacy of this once well respected, unique and still one of the most important web sites :)

STANDARDS
Now i am not saying that others should judge a girl with the same guidelines I have ...  everyone has their own tastes, that's fine.    And I have posted more than my share of both  9/10 and 5/5 reviews.      My objection is when someone gives everyone a 9/9 or 10/10 review the obvious conclusion is they have no standards, either that or the are just the luckiest guy alive.

thus when you see someone with 30 9/10 postings including for one for a girl that otherwise average 7/8 then this only reinforces the conclusion of a lack of standard other than being allowed in the room.

For anyone who has posted numerous 9/10 reviews, before the object to this post, I suggest that they first post what their quality standards are, how they differentiate between and how every single experience was exceptional.

SUGGESTION
Its my desire to reward excellence and insure our money is well spent.     To provide an improved guideline to reviews i would suggest TER add the following.     Next to each reviewers name in the listing of a providers reviews the average grade of the reviewer himself.     Right now i have to do that manually  ie  i see a 9/10 review i immediately check tthat reviewers history to see if this is typical or not.      Thus i would put far more weight to a  8/8 review from someone with a 7.2 average than to a  9/10 review from a guy with a 9.8 average.

CONCLUSION
My strongest hope for this post is that it will encourage guys who have 7/7 experiences to stand up and post those reviews as many did as recently as several years ago and regain credibility to this site.
