She was the last to leave the Air Asiana flight the crash landed at SFO, battling smoke and flames to make sure every last passenger was evacuated. How about that?

Actually this guy attempting to tie the term "K-Gal" with its obvious connotations relating to this board to another women of asian decent whom just acted so bravely is pretty ignorant.
But hell....They all probably look the same to him anyways.... -- Modified on 7/10/2013 3:49:19 AM
Nope, you're not. I get its usage in terms of the hobby, but it's still kinda like calling some other girl "that hot White Girl" or and 'A-Gal'.
But in this case, I don't think ethnicity plays into it at all... She's a very skilled crewmember who saved a lot of lives. That she happens to be Korean, doesn't really matter. DkG
But it is their crass commercialism, questionable business construct, and as demonstrated; Total void of personal shame that draws contempt.
I was struck with admiration for the flight attendant's courage and adherence to duty when I viewed it on the news. To sully such individual human grit with both racist and promotional interest in any way is the epitome of shameless IMO.
He merely praised a Korean hero. And rightly so. It is you and your white-hooded cohorts who have attempted to twist it into something else. Shame on all of you. Save that BS for your next Grand Dragon speech.
I agree she was a hero, and deserves praise. I think referring to her as "the Korean flight attendant" would be better. But if she was white or black, would her race be even mentioned?
It is her JOB to be the last out and try to help others. Just like the Captain can't jump ship as it sinks with others on board. You fail to mention all the other crew who were last out... and duh, the whole crew and most of the passengers were of Asian decent.
Pretty sure the flight attendant wasn't a hooker, so why the K-girl reference like it means something about K-girls?

No, I'm too busy getting laid to care about what you think. BTW, I'm a Libertarian and I don't feel like getting into a pissing contest with a troll like you. This site is for talking about women, so I really couldn't care less about anyone's political views.
It's not a racial reference at all. It's a country-of-origin reference. It's perfectly appropriate to mention someone's country-of-origin, particularly when they do something heroic in another country. Nothing at all inappropriate about that.
What is inappropriate is the trolls who are, once again, hijacking a harmless thread and using it to bash anything K-related. No surprise, the anti-K bias is alive and well on this board
You can stand by it all week if you like, but that won't make your post any less ridiculous.
I also find it interesting that some folks choose to object to this relatively benign OP and then they don't say a word when the KKK crowd starts up with their blatantly racist, anti-Korean rants. Way to fight the good fight
