......well well folks, anyone that knows me knows exactly why i'm grinning ear to ear....

today is a very important day.... very important, oh yes, in the life of a diehard Cardinals fan.

Yes yes, a season of impossible odds, relief pitching, Freese, a powerhouse batting lineup and god love it, La Russa and the boys are in the series...'the comeback Cards' indeed. We're here, and we're taking this series. U better believe it folks.

But there  is one thing the Cards don't have, and its not the lucky squirrel (he's there...)......

its me.

My redbirds need me damnit. The very fate of the entire series may damn well depend on it for all we know! I have all the faith in the world that my unwaivering devotion and love, accompanied by my lil 'we're #1" puffy finger are truely necessary to bring it on home this year. Therefore, if any one can score tickets to see my redbirds in the series......u just send them right this way. I think we can make this happen guys.....because i believe in miracles. And i love you.

Thank you sweetie, i know you meant that with all the goodness in your heart and i thank you genuinely from the bottom of mine for your forward thinking and sweet offer. But i don't post ANYTHING in the St Louis board or any neighboring states at all, only here.....reason being, when i go back there, i gotta leave Mae here, because the folks I'm there to be with don't wanna see Mae....they don't know who Mae is. But they know who mom is.....know what i mean, jellybean? But again, thank you, thats so sweet.....

So yeah, tix, on the DL when the situation calls for it...... it just so happens that one of the things Mae has in common with me is that both of us are Cardinals fans hardcore for life.....in it for the long haul like a bad marriage, yes indeed, me and those redbirds.....i look forward to growing older with them, taking off center photographs of eachother next to the grand canyon wearing bad shorts in the highlight of our twillight........and also maybe replacing their heart pills with tic tacs...who knows? our future together is wide open.

Definitely understand where you are coming from, though- I'm currently trying to balance the decision of "give up hobbying for 2012, to fly to a game (or maybe 2, SRO) in Texas this weekend..."

of course  - - the WS tkts in STL are cheap, compared to a yankees game! same price as a egular season premium seat at yankee stadium -

its funny you say that , because i just began an entire back piece the night before last, and the ink that we laid down 1st is the St  Louis skyline, between the shoulders....a lot of blackwork, brutal, lol, can't wait for some color, its gonna be quite something when its all said and done

i wanna go so bad. ive had to watch the streaming video cast on a friends desktop with headphones on and i get so into it.....when the crowd does lets- go- cards, i clap my hands and do lets- go- cards, i yell at rangers players, i argue with the ump, i offer words of encouragement to the cards players in a way too loud voice (i guess so they can hear me thru the screen? lol) and when someone scores a run im all over the place....my poor friends i know theyre in the other room tryin to take a nap goin wtf?

me watching baseball is just not meant to be an indoor activity. i'm enthusiastic. lol

Jeff Suppan, who I believe was on the last Cardinals World Series Championship team, has a sports bar in Woodland Hills called SOUPS.  I think I saw him behind the bar the other day.  They've got about a dozen flat screen HD TV's in there, and I'm guessing they'll be whoopin' and hollerin' in there during the whole series!!!

Just a thought......

The STL skyline is amazing.  Next time I'm homesick, I'll give you a call

Totally regretting not flying to Texas today.  Would have been an awesome game.
