I have noticed that there is a small window of opportunity for most men to hobby, so if your not available right now you will not make as much money as the provider's who are.  I can not say it is slow because I am still turning down clients everyday because I require advanced booking & a 50% deposit to book, which the majority of provider's do not require.  I do not think guilt is the issue.  Finding the time & extra income to play maybe difficult during the Holiday's.

Just curious to hear opinions on that. I've heard from several ladies that things are indeed slow right now. True?

To me, December does seem to be the slowest month.  I would guess that's because ... 1.) Guys have less disposable income at this time of year due to other financial commitments like family vacations, gifts, parties, etc.  2.) People just aren't around as much, hobbyists and providers, for those same reasons.  3.) And this may be a stretch but I'll say it anyway - Perhaps guys feel more guilty cheating on their wives / girlfriends around Christmastime!

Thought I'd throw this question out for discussion since the LA board also seems kind of slow right now.  Not a lot of new topics popping up these days.

I have always done well in December. Last December was very good from the provider stand point. Now August....Gerrrrrrrrrr!

Yep...  Men out Xmas shopping for the SO and seeing all sorts of hotties and smelling all that perfume gets them all arroused and then Nat's phone starts a ringing!!!  LOL

1. Guys have more reason to spend money or have money missing. Gifts!
2. Guys take family vacations all year round, not just in December.
3. Guys want to feel appreciated and treat themselves, especially at this time of year.

So is December slower...depends on a lady's particular clients and what their schedules are like. In my opinion, there is no difference between December and all the other months.

With the holidays and many provider spending the time with their families, it just makes it difficult to plan for anything.  

I always want to plan something special for the holidays but it just never seems to work out.  

January the boards will pick up.

It sounds like finances are the #1 reason, which is not surprising.  I usually hobby twice a week, and I'm thinking about cutting that number in half for December, just because I know that Amex bill is going to be UGLY in January. As for guys NOT feeling guilty during the holidays - yeah, I suppose that's right. Guys only feel guilty if they get caught!  ;)
