I had no idea so many people would like morning appointments.  I'm going to start doing morning appointments.

Hello Los Angeles Hobbyists,

It would really help me out a lot of you could answer some questions for me.

1. When you want to see someone that you haven't seen before, do you like to communicate by e-mail to book the appointment, or do you like to make a phone call?

2. Also, do you like to plan your date in advance, or do you decide you want to see someone and try to see that person that day?

3.  What time of day do you like to see an escort, morning, afternoon, evening or late night?

I love mornings.

1. Definitely email for first visits. For someone I've seen before, email is still the preference, but I sometimes have phone conversations to figure out details of an upcoming visit (like, if they are details I don't want a written record of).

2. Has to be advance for me. Too easy for things to go wrong (make mistakes/miss warning signs) on short notice. Theoretically, I might do short notice with someone I've seen before and trust, but it'd be a rare situation, and it hasn't happened yet.

3. Weekday morning, sometimes afternoon. My non-hobby life usually prevents the other times from being feasible. When I'm on business travel, evening.

1.  Email or text
2.  I can never seem to plan more than 24 hours ahead max.
3.  First morning session available.

1. I prefer email 1st because I plan ahead.
2. Since I have to have good alibi from my wife, daughter and sister, I need to plan a few days in advance, but I noticed that providers are leery that I may be LE. So I can only plan in advance with provi or booker who already know me.
3. I'm older guy so can rise to occasion better in the AM. (lol)

wow, I am so surprised that the first four of you that have answered prefer mornings.  I guess I should start adding mornings to my available hours.  I appreciate the feed back.

2.  same day 90 percent of the time due to busy schedule
3.  love to book the first appointment of the day if possible, if not, whenever the work schedule allows.

The urge for me is strong early in the day.

Questions 1 & 2, I do whatever it takes.

Email is first option, easy and fast.  If no reply by email, I follow up with a phone call.

Sometimes I plan in advance, while other days, I get an opening in my usually hectic day, make a couple phone calls and see who is available on short notice.

I appreciate your answers so much.  I had no idea that so many people would enjoy morning appointments.  That's good for me because I am a morning person too.

I appreciate your answers.  I'm pretty much good anytime of the day, but I like to go to bed at 10pm so I don't like to do late night appointments.

1. Email with appointment request and basic references (TER Whitelist, rS2K, etc) and offer to provide further if we schedule time etc.  Follow up by subsequent email, or phone if requested.

2. Usually (80%), in advance. Sometime my travel/work schedule changes last minute, and I might try to schedule 24 hours ahead, or same day.

3. Early-mid evening is my favorite, as its always during business travel.

1.  I usually like email because with calling a provider, you don't know if you'll be interrupting her or calling at a bad time.  Also, she may return your call at a bad time (at work, in front of a significant other).  The only time I would call is if I were to see if she was available the same day, but that's not often.

I like to text.  I have a template set in my phone & lists my name, TER handle, age, race, & references.

I try to plan my dates in advance.  If there's someone I really want to see & try to schedule that date a week in advance.  But I rarely book at the spur of the moment.

I prefer late mornings (10 or 11) unless I have to work.  I see one particular lady on Sunday early evenings when I have to work the Sunday shift.

1) email, though I prefer a fairly quick response or I may look elsewhere.  Not a lot of good excuses for a delayed response in this day and age of smartphones
2) typically relatively short notice as my schedule frequently changes.   Though if it's a touring girl, maybe more advance planning
3) morning or afternoon if I am in town.  Evening if I am traveling on business

Thank you Bob!  That does help a lot.  When you say you like to text, does that apply to someone you've never met before?  I don't feel I would be comfortable booking someone by text for the first appointment, but if it's someone I've seen before, then texting could work.

Yes, smart phones are awesome.  I remember when I was touring different cities I wouldn't want to leave my hotel room just in case some one e-mailed me when I was out.  I was so happy when I got my first blackberry and I could get e-mails on my phone.

I actually remember the first appointment I got when I was out and about because I had that new blackberry.  I was in New York and I was in the Central Park Zoo.  I was so happy that I could go out and enjoy the city and not miss any e-mails.

I have an i-phone and I love it.
