So many random ad sites take my pictures and make it seem like I am advertising on their site. I have to call them about a dozen times to make sure that they take it down and even after they do, it seem like there is new site who takes my pictures every other month. URGHHH drives me crazy!!! I know that many other girls have this problem as well. Is there anything I can do about this besides tirelessly call and email them?

Has been going on for a looooong time.  I've seen ads for ladies I know who have been out of the biz for years.  It sucks and it is wrong. But I have a serious question for you.  In a way, they are giving you free advertising.  I understand using ones image without permission is frustrating and it would piss me off too.  Curious as to what bothers you about this. Is it sites you prefer not to be associated with? Is it a matter of overexposure?   Are they just stealing your pics and using fake contact info?     PLeeeze understand , I'm not being a critic of your post...just wondering what all the issues are?

No worries, that is a completely valid question :) I purposely ask for no reviews as I would prefer to be "under the radar" and these random ads make it very difficult for me to remain so.

I'm also a little paranoid about people in my personal life seeing these photos. Even though my face is blurred, it is still me. The more my photos are strewed all over the internet, the more chance I have of being recognized. The helplessness that I feel when I realize that I have absolutely no control over where my photos go is another reason.

Post under an alias.  Every time you post here with your real profile, you're exposing yourself.  You're no longer UTR ;)

about! Never heard of it.

I don't have any solutions at this time but i do understand what your going through Brooke.
Please keep me informed if you find any answers!

I can vouch that Brooke's pictures are indeed of her.
As you are one of the premier providers in LA and everyone here knows you, change your picture out now to not show your face.
Do this now and then you only have to deal with the old photos.

I would not recommend this to anyone who is not established.

Some ladies state that if you pass the reference checks that they will send out an unblurred picture.
I do not recommend this but if you do then please do not send out a picture that is associated with you anywhere on the web. A person could scan the picture into tineye and potentially find out more personal information about you.

I do not know much what you can do about your current pictures that are out there now, other than possibly pay a lawyer to write a letter for you that you could send out as needed.

Hope this helps and I hope I will see you soon with Melody.

First of all you have to get rid of your website. It's still around and
if you want to be UTR get rid of it. Then send your own lawyer's letter
on stationary you can make up on your own computer. Send a threatening
letter to every website that has your pics. That should get rid of those using
your website pics and prevent any  other sites from getting your pics. Your reputation
will be more than sufficient to get you all the referrals you need. N'est ce pas?

Appreciate your thoughts.  Fact is, I suspect sites include your ads without authorization because  of your history and stellar reputation you give THEM legitimacy !   Hell , they should be paying YOU .

Hi Brooke!  reading your dilemma did two things for me; one, it made me upset for you and the issues that these jerks cause for you.  Two, it reminded me for the 1000th time that I've been wanting to meet you forever!  So I went to your website... and it's gone?  That is way too UTR!!  Can you please PM me or something.... soon!!

Although I would say for most providers this may be a problem, for you -- with your reputation and reviews -- only an imbecile would be fooled.  I do understand your concern, but do what you can to deal with the situation, and let it go.  If Hemingway or Faulkner experienced plagiarism, they would shrug it off.  Although I have never had the pleasure of seeing you, I feel you have nothing to worry about.  RT

Dear Miss B,
It’s the price of being rich and famous. I know of a provi in your league, who at the peak amassed about 100 reviews averaging 9. Last fall she had her TER, CV and MP Guide profiles deleted. Provis of your stature need no ads or web. Just regulars and referrals keep you plenty busy. If you’re curious who this other provi is, she’s made in China, so Kitty Cox would know.
