Hi everyone.  Just curious.  Will the 405 shutdown this weekend affect your normal weekend routine?  Noting driving over the hill to see your ATF?

My own plans had changed for all of this freeway closure as I had rescheduled my ATF for tonight to be tomorrow. Sadly, my "trusted" sigalert is showing NO traffic much of ANYWHERE in Los Angeles ! I am concerned a little more, as sigalert is also showing a "fast pace of traffic" when the 405 is supposed to be "vacant" ? Many must have taken the requests to stay home all too seriously, as the freeways have never looked more fun to drive in many many years ! (calling the ladies asap !!) A great weekend to all. GNWS

It would  take me less than 5 minutes to bike to nearest WLA provider complex to visit with some of the best and most beautiful ladies for just $250, more choice if I am willing to cycle longer.  Carmageddon for some but not my way.

OK so the 405is closing any minute now. Funny how so many people thought it was closed all day today. There was ZERO traffic on the 101 from Westlake Village to Burbank this morning. This afternoon I was doing 80 eastbound on the 101 at 5:30pm at White Oak. That never happens.

Went to Westwood for dinner at 7:30 from Sherman Oaks (Mongols - mmmm). Sepulveda pass took 5-10 minutes tops from 101 to Sunset. At 8:30 still wide open going the other way.

Reminds me of the 1984 Olympics.

On Sat 7/16 at noon, I Went from Pomona to Melrose ave off the 101. I have never seen such little traffic on the 101 EVER. It was dead.
