This question came up after some PM's with other hobbyists revealed that we were in the same boat and would've never known it.  

So, how many of you out there are on some type of "lockdown" by your ATF, where she told you not to see other girls??

Yes or no will do, don't have to say who the provider is obviously.

to remember not to use any of the "lockdown" girls as references.

One ter buddy has been on "lockdown" for almost 5 months!  Damn!

So is this some new business strategy I didn't know about?  No girl ever asked for this before.  I was surprised when she asked but figured it was worth a try.  Then I found out other girls and ter guys are in the same situation.  

The funniest thing would be to find 2 or more guys on lockdown from the same girl!

I thought the whole point of P4P was to avoid these types of problems.  If you want someone to dictate who you can see and what you can do, just get a civie girlfriend.

My ATF is just the opposite. When a new girl comes to town, she wants me to try her. Lucky me, I guess.

It has happened before and it is a marketing ploy on the road to playing you. No joke, I am fucking a regular and she halts the fucking to tell me she wants me to stop seeing other providers and civs unless they take it in the ass. If they do then it’s ok and I can only fuck them in the ass. Months before that she had told me she would provide references but later on retracted and said that it made her jealous. The real kicker was going away for the weekend she said it would not be on the clock but needed funds to cover the work she would miss. It is a sure warning sign.

How can a provider say such a thing, unless perhaps the client and provider have been out together on dates, perhaps?

It seems like in a way it could be perceived as some type of punishment.

LMAO..This is one of the funniest things I've ever heard. Variety is a great part of the hobby! Hobbyist should not have to feel obligated to one lady. A request like this from either party is ridiculous! Take it easy, be safe, and enjoy the hobby

Probably right- been out on a date(s).  Not a new business ploy in L.A.  Been going on for years to 'reel you in.'

It has happened to me.  At first it is a little flattering, and then you understand its great marketing in a very competitive business.  As stated numerous times on this board, “it’s a business” in business we all have good customers we would prefer to entertain over others.  It’s good to have repeat customers.

There have been many discussions about hobbyist/provider relationships.  I now think of it like roulette, I put $100.00 on black and red hits.  Oh well.  

are only ATF's as I reflect on memories with some awesome gals.  But as I walk through this journey, I have (almost) never seen a provider more than 3 or 4 x's.  Best advise, get out of the box and book time with someone new.
