On Lopaw’s obvious question, my simple answer is that my alias is always my screen name; thus I never need to stop and ask, should I use alias for this post or that. My reason is that display of the review history list adds or subtracts nothing. People’s words should stand on their own merit. Do people ever click on others’ review lists to decide if they make sense or not?
On Bodhisattva’s comment, “Seriously...Who cares”, right on. But there are some still quite upset about aliases.
On that self-appointed judge & juror, normally I ignore him, but this time I need to point out some silly fallacies. He made a big deal about wasting people’s time by re-posting this OP. I suppose he thought people would need to re-write. (hahaha). If people want to re-post their responses, just go to their posts history, copy/paste. It takes about 30 secs. OK, I plead guilty to wasting each person 30 sec or so. I accept the judge’s banishment to persona non grata. (hooray) Look at last week’s Friday shill. After a number of iterative re-posting, it finally got rid of all the irrelevant distractions and went back to its main theme. On a previous reference to a long-gone controversial guy, I mainly wanted to make the point that he did not display a single review and still earned the trust of many. I used “phenomenon”, a neutral word that conveyed neither praise nor damn. BPS understood my sarcasm, but apparently his honor the judge did not understand, thus went on to silly ramblings.
OK, so much for that judge. From hereon, I won’t even dignify his OPs with any click. Btw, he used the invective “moronic”. I suggest he should look at the mirror, take a deep breath, and repeat the American truism, “It takes one to know one.”
On Dance’s question about respect, I said it loud & clear, this thread is meant to draw out all anger & disdain once and for all, so as to avoid future distractions. Unlike that judge who craves lime light, I’m perfectly OK to be ignored
