I have one friend who know's a little bit about this side of me, but that's it.  The friends I've made doing this know of course, but it's like a different life.  The two parts don't interact.  VERY BiPolar of me.

I have always wondered about others.  I don't tell anyone at all about this.  My best friend does not even know and I have never met any other hobbyist (that I know of).  Luckily, I have a flexible schedule and I am out on the road a lot, so I don't need to make excuses to leave the office.

I have no problem telling someone that I'm a sex worker. if they can't accept it then the can't accept me. I do this because it's what I love and it is a huge part of who I am today.
at first I hid this from my family but I'm so close with them the secrecy left me with nothing to chat with my mom about, I could call her and tell her when I had a good day or a bad day and it started to really strain our relationship. Now my family and friends all know. of course they call have their concerns but none could say that they have ever saw me happier in life doing anything else, I think it's because of this that they are very supportive

  I DON'T make excuses.  Most of my friends know that I am dating at $$$$ roses per hour.  No lvr, no wife, coworker?  
  Why?  Because I have never had a woman give me her phone number, email address etc. if I asked.  They look at you like, you're the guy who kills the dogs at the pound, or something.  I had one bartender who left the bar the third time I showed up. She stormed into the back when she saw me.  I never even asked her for anything.  I engaged in casual conversation while she was working.  Maybe 8 exchanges in a period of about 2 hours over two visits.  What the h _ _ _ did I do to her?    
Church, Tinder, Match.com, whatever, in ALL of those I've had a total of ZERO dates.  A couple of the online sites kept deleting my profile(you tell me why?)  So on those I just gave up.  One changed my gender to female for some reason(TWICE), so I closed that one.
  Within "the hobby" I've been stood up countless times.  I have a saying.  "Every time I get dressed up, I get stood up!"  Take a week ago Friday.  I call her, first she says she's 'driving'.  Then she sends me to a hotel where "ya know what, I know you're not here".  Look, if you don't want to see me just say "I'm not interested." or "I don't want to see you."  Don't BS me.  Waste my time.  And screw it up for a woman who is available.  There was this wedding reception going on at the Westin,  From what I could see, father of the bride probably could have bought himself a new CTS-V.

...I tell them that I am a consultant and remote assistant. It's a reason for me to be working from home and having guests coming by a few times a week. It might be different if I had more foot traffic coming in and out, but so far so good on that front.  

When it comes to my friends, most of them know that I work in the adult industry. Those who are unfamiliar with adult work have a few incredulous questions and of course some misconceptions, which I'm only happy to correct.  

I'm comfortable with what I do. The only time I hide it is when discretion is the smarter decision - of course I'm not going to be telling anyone who is near my incall for obvious reasons. My family knows a little bit but not the whole story, but that's in order to protect them.  

 

If I were too ashamed about being a sex worker to tell my closest friends, then it's fair to say that I shouldn't be a sex worker for my own mental health. I'm comfortable and very happy with my decision though. I have no desire to get a 'real job' again any time soon

Don't really have or need an excuse. The GF is totally cool with the hobby; and has joined in on a couple occasions - and will continue to. And she doesn't mind me going solo as long as I tell her. And she's a gorgeous, amazing girl - but she's all "You'd do it anyway. So just tell me."  

My closest friends know, as I joke with them about it - so, you know, whatever.  

And it's not like I've ever had any problems picking up chicks. I just dig the hobby. Simple as that, really.

I hop on my road bicycle and say, "See you in 8 hours".  Ladies think it a kick when I show up in helmet, Lycra spandex, and grab ass shorts with a burl in between my legs but they will remember me for that after we 'put the hammer down'.

During office hours. I can find ways to get out of the office easier than get out of the house lol
