One hears about these things.  It's always disturbing.  I too hope that your are OK pyhsically, although the emotional scars, may linger.
I trust you screened the perp. A lady can never "over screen".  Consider requiring initial contact to be via TER PM, and proceed to contact ladies he has seen.  Any nut can email you and give any handle (it's happened).  At least the ter pm is password protected.

So sorry, must have been frightening. Was it a gent you met on TER? Perhaps you should think about doing an even more thorough screening procedure than I'm sure you already do.

I am really sorry to hear about this. We really do not have a place for providers to share such info with one another. I am not sure if it would always help us.  

Dangerous people tend to get through most doors if they really want to. Sadly, it is this kind of bad event that reminds me of why I absolutely refuse to provide incall, ever. Horrific events recently in the Vancouver area are a mere representation of what a deviant can have access to when an incall location is provided him. To be able to step in and out, without a trace. I can't handle it myself.
I know many will disagree and surely, we all must do whatever it is that provides us our own security and peace of mind.  

You mention only that a black man came in and robbed you. Take note...
The wealthy, well established, white male with references, he can also be uncool.
I have had one, horrible man in a multi million dollar home, treat me extremely bad. Robbery and assault were the best part of it. The lingering inability to ever, ever reply on any references or site approvals while having zero retribution or meager recovery, remain insulting. That he has done it again and will do it again, remains an insult that is virtually indescribable.

If ever there were a legit collection agency for us girls for the outright theft perpetrated onto us, I assure you, they would be busy. But, that is for a fantasy world ; and so we simply move on.

When a client simply "feels" uncool, for a brief moment, we must, no matter how late are bills are, absolutely, choose to be unemployed for the day. The parameters of age, race, profession, location, tone of voice and all screening requirements, both large and small, must be honored as a requirement to remain alive and unharmed. When judged by others, we can not be swayed even though it can hinder our income for standing to our need to work in relative safety.

I encourage woman to consider hotels over private homes for incall or at the very least, install surveillance systems. Men like this one is comfortable with what he has done and will do it again and again. He, and deviants like him, need to be blasted on youtube and jailed like the low life asshat that he is. I am happy to refer any reputable provider to the good hotels available for under 110 in the Beverly Hills and Burbank areas that I have access to. Until then, please get security systems with video at all times for your safety. A real nice k9, is an asset like no other as well. I never go anywhere without my puppy now and I assure you, deviants to not like k9 dogs biting there balls.

Please do not call us "racists" - "bitch" - and all the other "colorful" names you can throw out when turned down. It is never you, as we have not met. @the OP - so sorry to hear that this happened to you. Keep your chin up, there are a lot of lovely gentlemen out there who make it all worthwhile.

I'm very sorry Alley that you had to suffer through something so horrific. I felt sick to my stomach the first time I read your post. I am disgusted by the pig who did this and very embarrassed if he is/was a member of TER If so I hope that you did contact TER to inform them of what occurred.

My second thought is how that we can help you. I see that Delaine offered some help with screening procedures. I was thinking that we could as a community do a crowd funding link to help you recover some or all of the money you lost. If we all donated $5 or $10 etc. she could at least get a new phone and move on.

Is anyone else interested in this and would you guys consider donating?
