I've tried it, it was kinda meh. Basically lots of licking and slow stroking, followed by a normal blowjob. Not unpleasant granted, just wasn't a notably better orgasm.

 
I think it would be better for guys who tend to pop early, so they can be brought to the edge and back again more times than I usually would. I typically have complete control over when I pop (youth for the win, also kegels), so it's much harder to "edge" me.

true edging by someone who "gets it"  can be a very memoralbe experience.    couple key things .. guy has to be restrained ..  girl has to truly know how to touch a guy, know the spots that drives a man wild  ... just stroking isnt going to do it.  my expereience maybe only 10% girls truly know ..   vs the 1% of guys who know the same on a girl !!
