to pay double on your b-day. Go ask your parents for a discount!

The hobby is a business. And like many businesses, a special can bring in new business AND bring in old customers you have not seen in a while. Many times it is not about the money but an excuse to get off the fence and see her.  

I don't think any providers give discounts unless they've seen you and there is some sort of chemistry or they really do enjoy your company.

No one wished you a Happy Birthday...
