Just because he has reviews, doesn't mean he is safe.

Two years ago, I accepted an appointment with a reviewer with a few reviews and a whitelist.... I didn't verify provider references and was scammed.  My bad for not checking reference.  Since then, I always verify with 2 similar/like minded providers.  Ladies, please check references.

My post from 2 years ago....https://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion-boards/los-angeles-1/providers-be-cautious-with-a-reviewer-with-only-a-few-reviews-312591?#312591

I just received a fake review this weekend and confirmed his review before mine with Onya C,  is also a fake.  We have both reported the incident to TER.

The reviewer is TS (Trans Sexual) and has 5 reviews.  His first 3 are for TS providers, all in their 20's.   Onya C and myself are the only 2 who are not TS .

Be safe...;-))

...do you start off repeating a two year old post?   Checking references and fake reviews are two completely different topics.  A guy uses fake references in order to try to see you.  A fake reviewer doesn't see you at all.

My guess - you don't want to appear to be only bitching about a fake review.  It might sound like sour grapes.  But if you had started the post off with the fake review, it may have gotten more attention than sneaking it in at the end.  The fake review should have been in the subject line, not something that happened two years ago.

Or maybe you're trying to use the the two year old incident, which really happened, to smear your new review and claim it's a fake by somehow linking it to the previous incident so people will think it's a fake review when it actually is a real review.  It's a he said/she said situation, and your credibility just took a hit with that post.

been on opposite sides of the fence lately on a lot of topics, but I think he's spot on this time.  The way you approached this DOES make it look like you're just trying to discredit a review as being fake.  You said you reported it to TER.  If the reviewer has emails to back up the review showing you made an appointment,  then they will allow the review to stand.  I guess we will find out by way of what TER does.  It seems odd that a TS reviewer would choose ONLY GG's for her fake reviews.  The guys that write fakes are usually equal opportunity fakes.

Oh my goodness, I'm sorry I didn't write my post in the order YOU WANTED it to be written.  You wrote ... It's a he said/she said situation, and your credibility just took a hit with that post.   Opinions are like assholes, everyone's got one.

The review was fake and was pulled/removed today.

You want a more active board with the ladies - don't be so negative.  Posts like yours are not very inviting - especially not if your going to attack our credibility, like you just did mine.

I made a terrible mistake 2 years ago by not checking references on a TER client, with TER reviews and a White list.  This client scammed me and several other providers.  It turned out, all his reviews were fake.  I posted the old post to share exactly what happened as a reminder of why it's so important to check references.

I recently received an email from someone attempting to sell me fake reviews.  Yes, I forwarded the email and contact information to TER.  I am totally against any fake reviews what-so-ever.

I've had good reviews that were FAKE  removed as well.....

We all need to report fake reviews - good or bad,  The person writing them could be dangerous to other providers.  I don't want the same thing that happened to me 2 years ago to happen to someone else, or worse.

Make a friend!
Make a difference!
Make someones day!

Yes, it's very odd a TS reviewer would write a fake review on me.

I agree the guys that write fakes are usually equal opportunity fakes.

...wants fake reviews on TER.  I've reported fake reviews that were removed and I've advised providers on how to get fake reviews removed.

But your complaint about the guy two years ago was that the guy scammed you by only leaving $30.  Your OP said nothing about him writing fake reviews.  That's why it didn't make sense to connect him to someone who writes fake reviews.

And again, the guy who wrote the new fake review has NOTHING to do with checking references.  If you would have said you checked his references and they were phony so you turned him down and he wrote a fake review for spite, that would be one thing.  But he simply wrote a fake review of you out of the blue.  That's a different story and has nothing to do with checking references.

In that post 2 years ago, I wrote......

I just heard back from 1 of the 3 Providers he reviewed, it's a Fake.  She never saw him or reported the incident to TER.
I should have asked the providers he reviewed for references before the appointment, but I didn't - my bad.  I saw he had 3 reviews and a Whitelist (Whitelist has been removed) and thought it was safe.  I'm reaching out and sharing my mistake with others so the same doesn't happen to them.

You wrote....And again, the guy who wrote the new fake review has NOTHING to do with checking references.
You're not getting my point..... A provider new to TER might think, Oh he's seen Olivia, he must be a good guy and safe.   I don't want my name connected to FAKE reveiws.

Just like Zooey said in her post below from my other fake review incident I shared here.... our worry is that he will try to schedule with another provider, see that he has been with established providers in the area, and impart some kind of harm.

New FAKE 8/9 review posted yesterday
Hello everyone,
I just wanted to confirm that the review of me posted by BigMackieD is indeed a fake - I did not see him and the review is inaccurate and unrepresentative in a couple of ways.
As Olivia has mentioned, our worry is that he will try to schedule with another provider, see that he has been with established providers in the area, and impart some kind of harm.
Be safe, be well, be honest!
XOXO,
Zooey

I had a client tell me that I had golden pussy syndrome because I asked for a reference on my screening. SMH thank you for posting this.

I'm sure it is golden!!  lol

I can't count the gent's with TER profiles (with No reviews or White list's) who have gotten angry with me because I asked for references on my screening as well.   They seriously think just because they created a profile on TER they are entitled to an appointment.  Has any of those ever turn into appointments?  Hell no.

No screen, no see me!

Seriously, CDL and BigP???

Is this so intensely egregious to you that you must attack the OP based on your personal (and rather irrelevant) editorial policy?

It makes me suspect that both of you are being controlled by your bright, blue balls, and just really need to get laid.

Fortunately, I know a site you can use that has highly valuable reviews for providers.  Just PM me, please. :p

Well,  I could write a book about this ( so how's an essay? ) and I've been on TER for like half a year and just a year at HX.
I had to publicize an email address in order to link those two accounts together which added a whole dimension to my screening .
This has created a leak in my system where all manner of nonsense gets through.
My inclination is to stick with guys who have their established networks on HX or TER.
AT the very least, I can be assured it's not LE.

BUT... I had a client tell me I was the first one to ask him to verify that he is who he says he is by emailing the TER account he claimed was him a code word in the body of the email. IF they can't do that, they've just picked a random profile to pretend to be. I was shocked that this isn't standard.

More than a few email exchanges stopped right there.

What I don't understand is why guys who have these profiles don't just use them. Save me a TON of time and just use the site. I pay for it, you should pay for it and utilize it. It's really frustrating to email back and forth with someone with all kinds of screening shit when they could have just ask a few providers to whitelist them and email through the site.

It doesn't solve these problems, of course, but it's a huge help.

my public apology when it turned out I was wrong.  I also PM'd a private apology to Olivia.  Ask her.  What else would you like me to do?

BTW, I do a minimum of 6 hrs of hobby time a week, so no blue balls here.  How about you?  Usually guys with a short fuse also have a short . . .  . .  well, I won't go there.  I'm trying to be nicer lately.
