OK, I was at a busy westside location today about 3pm.  Parked on a side street, waiting for the "OK text".  Just sitting in my car, reading the paper.  A cop car comes slowly cruising by.  I mean he was just inching along.  I didn't notice till he was almost past me.  He made a turn onto the main drag & I thought everything was cool, but he went around the block & parked at the corner about 30 yards behind me.  I moved my car onto the main drag & reparked.  Got the code, went to the door & got buzzed in, did NOT see the cop car come around the corner, so maybe it was a coincidence, but who knows.
Just a "heads up" to my brother hobbyists.

Here's to safe mongering!

You can't be arrested for ringing a doorbell
and being let in to the building.
As long as they're not hiding in the
close you're ok.

...they would just use uniforms to discourage foot traffic so that the providers move to another area.  This would be in response to other tenants complaints.

A little fear is good for a hobbyist.  It keeps you alert and on your toes.  But as Buffalo Springield said, For What It's Worth:  "Paranoia strikes deep; into your life it will creep."

Ahhh, these cops. Always trying to keep a sister down. You know as soon as they are off duty they are going down themselves and paying the same rate as every other john.

Too bad there is no "real" crime to solve. You know, like murders, bank robbers, gang bangers.

Wait, that'd be too dangerous.  Lets chase hot chicks and dudes in dockers and loafers.

That's way safer and a better use of scarce tax dollars.

Thanks for the reassurance, Pops. The Springfield, ahh I remember the "Summer of Love".  Still in high school.  1 year away from meeting my future wife.  Great times.

The first time I ever went to see a provider was from a ad I found in the LAWeekly paper (before I ever knew about TER). I pulled up to this duplex in fairly mediocre Beverly Hills suburb around 2pm, I'm waiting in the car for like.. an hour trying to scope out the community to see if I can spot any cars that look like possible LE. After getting like 15 calls from the provider wondering where the hell I'm at, I decide to finally take the plunge and just go in. I see a black and white turn the corner and drive slowly down this residential street and I swear he looks right into my car and gives me the most intimidating look, as if he knows what about to do. I nervous as fuk, so I start the car up and just leave.

After all that waiting, I got spooked by a single patrol that had no freaking clue what I was doing there. Oh the newbie mistakes I made back then.
