A note from your temp mod on provider ads

OK, I know I'm just your temp mod, but this was prompted by the guy who PM'd me all butthurt because I denied his snarky comment on a provider's ad thread.

A provider is permitted one ad in a 7 day period. Rude or negative comments regarding appearance, rates, perceived service levels, what kind of dog she has, what kind of dog YOU have, how big the zit you squeezed while reading her post was etc. WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. If you don't like the looks of her ad, don't see her. If you feel the need to correct or school her, do so via email. If you want to champion somebody else who had a problem with her, go to HX. I know, that will deprive the rest of us the opportunity to marvel at your erudition. We'll survive. Start a separate thread if you really really need us to see.

My original post was not snarky since that is defined as testy or irritable.  I asked a question and asked for her reply. Here it is:
Question?

With all due respect. Before I call to scheudle, did you ever return that guy's deposit?

Here is my second post and also did not see this as being snarky. You may have a point that since a discussion took place it might be considered a hijack. That I will cop to as it was not my intention, just reply to RT who replied to me.
I do apologize to Jordan Lee for that if it is in fact a hijack:

I agree and was not being disrespectful.

I agree that is why I posted the question which I thought was in a polite manner. I hope she can give us a well structured explanation in a professional manner because her replies in the original posts about the issue did not come off that way. And now that I have read her reviews and not just drooling over her pictures, I have to wonder what is so special about her when compared to the many outstanding Asians we have here who also charge less? Her numbers are impressive but that may be if there are fewer Asians in the area. Here we have import car models who are gfe.

I fully support Puck's decision.  You may like it or not, but it follows the guidelines implemented for board contributors.

OK, so what you're saying is that the regional discussion board is not the place to post any NEGATIVE comments about a provider regarding appearance, rates, and/or perceived level of service. I respectfully disagree! If the comments are done in a respectful, non-slanderous manner, then what is the problem? Or maybe the more important question is whether we should even have a regional discussion board! Give us a break!!! Ciao!

Let the lady post her Ad.  Compliment if you will.  If you want to discuss her services start a new thread.
Am I following this correctly?  Let the lady have her Ad once a week as is her privilege. Don't hijack her post about how she turned you down or what you dislike about her photos. If you want to pick out grammatical errors or ask if her photos are real do so via a email to her.  A compliment is allowed in her Ad but not a negative comment. Starting  a new thread about her is okay though.  Is this correct am I following the vibe?

Don't take this shit so serious guys!  This is supposed to be a Hobby of FUN and EXCITEMENT.  Leave the drama for your civilian life.  Ohh and play safe!

Posting negative comments on a lady's ad thread is not permitted. I know, sometimes she's a ripoff or bait n switch etc - but you are asking the moderator to referee that and determine what is a valid criticism and what is not. I do not want to be put in that position. In order to be fair to all, we want to keep ad threads clear of negativity while NOT censoring your commentary on a SEPARATE THREAD.

Play hard, but play fair.
