charging what she is. For $400 - $500 an hour the menu is very extensive of playboy type youngies out there. And like you say who really has 3-4 hours to spare or however many hours her minumum is.And I do believe she is qpproaching 40, not that that is necessarily a negative.

She certainly has a very astronomic opinion of herself. To view her gallery you have to forked out $$, and a recurring fee every month. She is a league of her own Vip.

Since I've never seen her I don't know for sure if it applies, but there are individuals out there who are "legends in their own minds".

I think you are right.  Who has the time and money to spend 4 hours with her in this economy?  Beside she is not getting any younger, billionaires want hot girls in their 20's.  I think she is turning 36 this year, she better cash in before she turn 40.  Reviews may help her, but if her rates still in 3k range, I doubt there will be any takers.

I'm no fan of AT for my own reasons, but the girl obviously was doing something right to command what she was commanding. I mean, have any of you ever talked with her?

I met her at a couple meet-and-greet luncheons back around 2003 or 2004, and I spoke with her a few times after that.  I can assure you, she's a very intelligent, engaging, physically beautiful and desirable woman.  I'll admit, I was quite taken by her in many different ways- she just has that sort of affect on you; or at least she did on me.

But she's not for everyone, and her online persona rubbed a lot of people the wrong way 8 or 9 years ago.  I always found her to be much more enjoyable (friendlier and funnier) in person and quite different from the image she had on the boards.  Some people are just better in person and I think she's one of them.

I never saw her as a client, however.  Back in the 90's when I was making big money, I had plenty of girlfriends to keep me busy.  By the time I met her, however, I no longer had that income, so I never made an appointment.  But it's obvious that she's aiming for people with greater means than me, and that can appear as being snobby at times; there's no denying that.

Despite the comments on this thread, Amy is an exceptional woman.  But when she was younger, she was very vocal at times, and also a little full of herself.  The combination rubbed some people the wrong way, including some who are no longer involved with TER.  Her problems with one individual (which I won't go into) turned into an ugly, messy business and she couldn't help but be adversely affected by it.  Frankly, I wouldn't wish what she went through on anybody, because it became a personal vendetta against her by this person.

She's probably about 33-34 by now, but no way she's "pushing 40," as someone suggested.  The photos on her website are all real and I think speak for themselves.  I put her in the category of a Bugatti Veyron- something to be coveted by all, but beyond the reach of all but a few.

She's made it pretty clear in various ways that even the average successful man isn't her target clientele.  If she wants to target sports figures, or lawyers or agents to the stars that make obscene amounts money, that's her business.  But we shouldn't hate her for it or be envious just because we think her rates are absurdly high, or we can't afford them.  As has been pointed out on these boards many times, there's someone for everyone, and we're all better off taking our business where we feel most appreciated.  And if she is overpriced for the economy of 2011, the market will let her know soon enough, and we don't have to worry about it.

she was driving that little black import convertable.  Then she raised her rate and requested me to follow her new rate for future meetings.  I told her to take a hike.  She can do whatever she likes with her rates and services.  But there are just way too many providers out there.  I didn't need to be forced into rate increase by her.  This ain't the oil industry.  Plenty of other wonderful ladies that would treat us fairly.

If you are that successful I would imagine you are educated enough to know how to spell hobbyist correctly. By the way, using an alias doesn't help your case.

Morgan was fun and she WOULD adjust her rate if she saw fit. Amy was too hard core, would not adjust, and let's be honest she did/does have a "holier than thou" attitude However, I guess Morgan did well and is no longer in the biz, Amy , however,is still hustling and I guess the ecomomy hit her finally to agree to reviews. What I can't fathom, however, is why would she be on THIS board, the very board she hated and had (as someone else pointed out)"very serious issues" with?

Whenever I check out a provider reviews I always check out the reviewers. These one time wonders I discount immediately.
Just my two cents. Read my last review if you have time. Best I've had since Vegas.

her 4 hr rate is reasonable compare to other highend...hobbyst who spend that kind of dough,me included, don't have to worry about the economy.

It is very important for Ladies who provide, to really pay attention to these boards.....Who in the hell would want to spend time with a low-class/CHEAP client, who talks crap on other girls...

And the guy who asked to see her for 60 minutes/2 hours?.....Of course she got upset IDIOT, she only does 4 hours!....Comical!.

Very good post Vanessa..you are totally rights. High-ends providers stay away from ter just because of this hate that some hobbyist have against them. Funny those who mention the bad economy...perhaps they should study more because in bad economic times the poor get poorer but the rich get richer...just last week week Ferrari introduced a new model, the FF, and the entire 2011 production (660)  sold out in less than a day, how's that for bad economy??
I have not met her but know many who did and they all say great things...

I e-mailed her alot in the past, and she was always VERY nice!.....She had no problem giving out "detailed" client verifications, and was always willing to help....She would take the time to tell you EXACTLY what to expect from the Gentleman, and I really appreciated that!.

Unlike some (most) other providers, who say..........Hey HON, he's OK HON, have fun HON, ask him if he wants a "double" HON!. Peace out HON!!!.....WTF?????.......Someone SHOOT me!!. LOL

There is a HUGE difference when e-mailing a provider (for client verification), when they are HIGH volume., as opposed to "Amy Taylor".....The high volume ladies will shoot you back a "text type" e-mail, that sounds......ummmmmmm.......well........Annoying, and quite scarry!!.

Her reviews are on this site, not on this board.  People from all over the world traveling to LA check reviews on this site, as well as those of us who live here.

So I think there's a benefit for any provider to have reviews on the TER website, even is she isn't hanging out on the local discussion boards.  

Maybe you should stop hating on the lower priced/higher volume providers.

I know EXACTLY who you're referring to.  They don't even know you and have never met you in person, and they're calling you "HON", "sexy" sweetie or some other BS, on the phone.

That's why I only stick with the top ladies. Proper behavior, before going behind closed doors goes VERY far, with me.
