for paying for a true massage -i.e., where the massage therapist does not touch intimate body parts - even if the massage therapist is unlicensed. She will get in trouble with the state but you will not.

So that is always a legitimate defense for the client to a prostitution charge if he can prove it.

You are now on record as admitting to having had a financial transaction involving touching.

That's evidence that can and will be used against you in a court of law.

(still not a lawyer)

That's a lovely quotation from RI law but it says nothing about the penalty for RECEIVING an illegal massage. I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that, since RI LE doesn't take in clients when they bust an AMP, there isn't one. At least not in the state of RI.

between you and the provider. It also gives them probable cause to investigate further, and of course gives her the motivation to roll on you in return.

In short it is a very bad idea to admit to anything, including "getting a massage". Your best bet is to use your constitutional right to STFU.

Wow, aren't you classing up the place.

Why don't you just pick up streetwalker? they're cheap and you don't have to worry about screening.

You admitted that you were there and paid for a massage?  And then what happened?

I used to work in a parlor that help LE and got away from this

In a real massage clinic, you sign medical paperwork citing allergies, previous history or at least a customer card

A real massage therapists has no fingernails and clean sheets between clients and doesn't advertise in the erotic section of the newspaper. Its one thing to advertise on the internet but stay away from craig or the local paper.

The one massage parlor in our area that doesn't get busted offers a legit massage for 30 bucks for new clients with a very attractive woman wear a tank top and daisy dukes. They take your name down and you get the other massage offered for the deluxe price.

I started doing my dinner dates b/c I am guessing LE don't want to do a stakeout on a new girl on two visits.
