Should I be alarmed?

I have an appt with a well reviewed provider who is part of an agency that I found here on TER.  I am new to the hobby, and the agency didn't ask any questions or do any reference checks other than my name and cell #.

Is this unusual for a provider to say that they are going to check references, yet not do so?

Should I be worried about LE with a provider who has 10+ reviews on TER?

If yes, then cancel.

If no, then it's probably OK.

However, if your Spidey senses tell you something is wrong, why suffer with that?

Just cancel and meet someone else with whom you are more comfortable.

This is supposed to be fun, remember?

I was moreso asking if it is normal for a provider who says she checks references to not do so?

Not that I expect any would make such a confession on here, even under an alias.

but in all fairness some providers are comfortable with the information they are able to glean from your name and number.

I am familier with most agencies in Atlanta, if you would let me know which agency I can give you my opinion. Feel free to PM me if you prefer.
