Has anyone ever heard of a vice cop setting up a sting for a provider getting busted by another vice cop setting up a sting for a client?

That would be so rich.

Highly unlikely since the vice cops likely would be working out of the same office in the same jurisdiction.  Furthermore, feds and state vice must cooperate with local vice in a task force sting operation so again unlikely even if a mix of agencies are involved.
