Has anyone encountered LE in the Chicago area or the surrounding suburbs?

in chicago,,, the LE love fancy hotel stings,,,they also use video tape without the audio part (some state law that says w/o permission from a judge,can't use both)  i think punsh 1st offence is 6 months probation,,,this was what it was about a year ago,,, you will have to research more,,oh yeah oviously  the street level crack ally sweeps go on periodically,,i imagine that wouldn't appply to you

When you say "fancy hotel stings," what exactly does that entail? Are you referring to fancy hotels in the city or elaborate schemes at any hotel/motel?

I assume the hotel stings involve an undercover officer posing as an escort, right?

Am I correct in thinking that LE does not raid or kick in the hotel doors of providers & hobbyists mid-act like they do with johns picking up streetwalkers.  Is that right?
