question for the ones familiar with legalities znd politics: For the ones not familiar with the changes taking place in RI, it's been proposed a new ordinance to ban indoor prostitution (this is aside from efforts made at passing it at the senate). I wonder how this works. Local newspapers say this is being introduced to be voted (needs 2votes and major signature) today, then will likely be referred to the ordinance department. Based on that, when does it get into effect? How do the public know that, after 30 years, it is now illegal. Can they bust a hotel or AMP as early as today and without informing the public?

keep checking projo. ordinances in RI are not state wide, only by town AFAIK. I'm going to read up on it, but I would avoid AMP's for a few days.

The loophole in the law has been widely publicized this year with sermons being preached about sexual slavery.  Who could not be opposed to that?  The fact that there are already laws on the books to prohibit exactly that...  & did not stop pay4play...   Do not confuse the facts with propaganda, since they've already made up their minds in sexually repressed USA.

I expect they will eventually reconcile the RI State House & State Senate bills & pass the prohibition on the state level.

In the mean time, Providence, home to several MPs, is proposing a city ordinance which will prohibit prostitution within the city limits.  The ordinances can be specified as "taking effect upon passage" or at a future date.  I imagine that in order to gain the most political advantage from this that passage will be front page news.

Watch the news or read the papers.  After two or three years or uproar and national attention it's not going to be a secret when the law changes

"Indoor"  How about outdoor (in a private place).

In Providence there is a strip club called "Cheaters".  It is your run of the mill club in the private room the girls will BBBJ, DATY, and straight sex for a price.  It is very common in this club but not in all strip clubs in RI.
