What little I can find on Oregon Law, I can't find the "rules" about what Ellie can or cannot do here.  I've been told that in this state they can't actually deny they're cops if asked outright, but is this true and what are the other laws?

You may want to have an alias for these types of questions.  LE can creep these boards.

Also, I checked out your website, and there is a wealth of too "open" information.

You may want to tone it down a bit for safety's sake

about just about anything to get a bust.

Think about it for a while:

How could there ever be an undercover officer if all the perps had to do was ask if the person was LE?

The challenge is to screen carefully and never come face to face with LE.

Often LE doesn't even care if the bust will get upheld in court.  They know that just busting you causes your business to be disrupted, and sends a message to others not to practice their trade.  It also gets lots of press and gives the uprighteous taxpayers the sense that their tax dollars are being spent well.

(still not a lawyer)

But, I see your point.  Some of what I have on there I was encouraged to include by - of all people - other providers.  That's the trouble with being new in any business.  Mistakes happen.  Sometimes really bad ones.  I was lulled into ignoring my own good sense about what to include and what to exclude.

Thank you for your input.
