Who provides you the service while recording the conversation. Can LE bust a hobbyist based on such a recording?

sometime back on chicago's CL about an LE bust in similar circumstances. An escort used to advertise as a strip tease artist providing private services. The poster had had GFE sessions with her earlier. The night in question he went in to see her and used to usual precautions like never mentioning sex for money and only asking for a pvt strip tease on the phone. The lady had known him for sometime and when he entered the hotel room she hugged him and whispered about LE being in the bathroom. They proceeded to do the strip tease and midway thru the session LE came in. Since he did nothing wrong they took his name and address and asked him to leave. The guy hung around in the parking lot and about 45 minutes later saw a hobbyist being taken to a ULE car in handcuffs.

Saw this on the CL board for Chicaga (Schaumburg area) .....don't know if its true.

He wanted to protect the provider. If he had left immediately, LE would be suspicious of her and might call off the deal they made with her.  I'm sure the provider told him to do this as most people would not be calm or smart enough to think that quickly.

If the guy took off, it seems to me that his leaving in a hurry would be a sure-fire tip-off as to what his actual intentions were.   If he stayed and asked the girl to do something legal, LE would have a hard time justifying his arrest. Especially if he would have asked for a non-sensual massage.  

  I really don't think I could have been that cool about it in the heat of the moment though.  Not sure how I would have reacted.

But if he would have left right away, then he would not have done anything illegal, because he would not have done anything at all.

I would have said something like "Hey, I can't go out to dinner with you now after all.  Sorry about that."  And then I would have left.
