With this kind of language (*NOW*---here's the TRIGGER) I'm curious to your motives of this pointless post.

Cops are Legally allowed to *LIE* to you.Just remember that.
*ALWAYS* *ALWAYS* *ALWAYS* be Polite to a Cop (especially a Road Block--those tend to be the Highly Trained "D.U.I. Task Force"
*IF*--YOU HAVE BEEN DRINKING (OR ANYTHING ELSE)--WHEN PULLED INTO A D.U.I. CHECK POINT.
This Lawyer is from California, however he's giving advice precisely applicable to Georgia.
****************
Stopped at a DUI Checkpoint? What to do.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Piowqmm7fZ0
****************
*POLITELY POLITELY*
Use your own wording, for example I would personally say.
"Sir, with all due respect, I understand you have a job to do, however I *RESPECTFULLY* would prefer to speak to an attorney first"
THEN ZIP IT--SAY NOTHING ELSE---ZIP IT!!!!!
(don't go into "I got rights, the constitution this/that).
Trust me, he's had more Schooling than you have on Georgia Law/Constitutional Law (1000's of hours of class room training)-(especially "DUI-Task Force" Cops
****************
He asks will you blow in this device (little hand held size of Cig Pack). . * POLITELY* say
"Sir, with all due respect, I understand you have a job to do, however I *RESPECTFULLY* would prefer to speak to an attorney first"
****************
He then asks you to get out of the car, to perform field sobriety tests.
*POLITELY DECLINE*---"Sir, with all due respect, I understand you have a job to do, however I *RESPECTFULLY* would prefer to speak to an attorney first"
****************
*NOW*---here's the TRIGGER--most likely, he'll threaten arrest, or will arrest you for "Suspicion"--THIS IS OK!! An arrest means nothing. Simply a trip to Police station.
You have 3-Choices. Blow, Blood, or Pee----ALWAYS take the BLOW test.*ESPECIALLY*--if you done anything else that night or even a week ago. *DO NOT* let them take blood...however *DO NOT*--refuse (at the Police Station)--to take a test or you will lose license for a year.
****************
What is the purpose for all this? When (If)--you go to court. You've offered ZERO evidence for the cops to use against you (other than blowing into a machine)--that is EXTREMELY easy to fight.
Finally--*BEFORE* you are under arrest--ie. ever see on t.V. when they say, I'm handcuffing you to "Detain you" you're not under arrest (yet another trick they play)--*YOU* think whatever you say is inadmissible--IT IS NOT--because he clearly said 'you are not under arrest"
if he asks, "Is there anything in the Car I should know about"--
*POLITELY* say "Sir, with all due respect, I understand you have a job to do, however I *RESPECTFULLY* would prefer to speak to an attorney first"
The importance of *POLITE*--is if you do blow High. They can say, Polite to officer, etc.etc. Judges *WANT* to hear that. Cop gets up there says "He/She was belligerent, hard to deal with, etc.
Judges tend to want to repay that favor and make it hard on you.
*BE SAFE EVERYONE!
