Hi, I am new to this forum and have been learning a lot from it. New to this hobby too (just one experience years ago). I am trying to do my research, get theVIP access, etc but the thing that is worrying me the most and making me hold on it is the possibility of irreversibly damaging my  career.  Anybody has legal knowledge about what happens to an MD if he gets busted? Does one lose the license? Or the job? Or any other issues I may not be aware of?
Thanks in advance for your answers

you do not want a blemish on your MD license . many professional licenses will forgive "pety things"  but may have a clause that if the charge involves "moral turpitude"  then you will have to get approval through committes & boards etc... can you imagine the humuliation???.
Also, depending on the town you live in,, small town  the arrest alone  will be on the news, paper & NET....does not matter about (not guilty) the damage is done..

If I were a nice guy & wanted to "Hobby" and had that type of career, I think I would find myself a legal mistress, 1 special lady to treat like a lady and bring flowers & get to know slowly and let the relationship develope naturally....

If you are determined to hobby with variety, All I can say is be careful & have the plan in case of the worst would happen( check on credit card for bail in your area)  & do not take plea to make it go away ,,it won't,,,, you will have to fight for innocence.. good luck

sending a PM to Dr. Joe who posts on the GD Board quite often and is very helpful. I bet he would have good info on this question.

check with the DR.

you know on the "yearly renewal" of a medical license.

There is a question
"Do you have any pending  criminal legal matters?  you would have to check "YES" then explain ..& that opens that huge can of humilation worms... a boating violation,  a bar fight, even a DUI does not embarass & humilate like a charge  related to  prostituion. There is a very bad "stigma"  even NOT Guilty makes people think bad things whether you are man or women.  And if you are "arrested",,it will still cause huge damage  & the conviction is even worse....That is 1 thing I know>. what it is like to be arrested & dragged through system ,the cost, the malicousness of a prosecution,, even though no evidence, no priors  & a "professional person" how it affects your life different that even a high position CEO

Sorry to hear about your bad experience Cathyb.
Yeah, I have renewed my license a couple of times already and have seen that question (yikes, indeed). I'll send a PM to the DR as suggested. Having a SO don't really want to get a mistress just rather have an occasional encounter with a pro;  it's not affect that I am missing, just lust and excitement; and I  am afraid with mistress starts with the latter and ends with the former. Best would actually be finding a good provider for regular encounters. Will keep on planning this.
Thank you for your feedback!!
