Could be worse than a scam....

hello all,
I have been looking into some of those record clearing companies, removing your (expunged/dimissed case) from "data bases",they charge about $250...but they want to know very large amount of personal info, that does not seem related or needed...vehicle rgistration drivers license#, previous address, state of birth,,etc...much more beyond (SS# & copy of order from court) I can see needing that & possibly a bit more... and also signed release for the FBI & NISI..which I told them I am NOT listed...I am concerned about the pay-type of data bases, as the county sold info...
I trust your wisdom & experience.  thank you

It sounds like you could be paying for the privilage of having your identity stolen.

I would not trust them unless someone I trusted both in terms of professional experience and personal reltionship vouched for them.

Even then, I'd worry about it.

They wanted a "release signed" so they can get a DAC USIS report (I know 100% I have nothing derogatory)
yourt right Mr Fisher it  sounds like identity theft to boot
