...she is not really a cop.  Local vice would pick up on that act and she would be arrested and fired in record time.

As a matter of interest, there have been at least one pair of female southern Californian Sheriff's Deputies busted for soliciting in Las Vegas.  And no, their badges didn't buy them a walk.  BTW, Vegas vice has lost all sympathy for the male cops they pop as well and are unlikely to let them walk either.  So yes, female cops have sold it and male cops buy it.

I recall a young recruit who used an identifiable part of his uniform as a costune...  he was dismissed.  
Local LE used to party after shift, remove uniform shirts & wear civie but uniform pants on.  Chief caught up with them (in next town) told no alochol if wearing any part of uniform.  

So I think these costume pieces are not actual current LE uniform.
