I'm a newbie on this discussion board, but I hope people can help by giving advice on this situation.

A friend of mine who is a provider (and worked for an agency) had her real name and number posted on a craigslist ad. Both of us have flagged the ad, but it's still up. Her "agent" felt she was stiffing him and decided to go this route. I have already suggested to her to change her phone number. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on what she should do? Thank you.

It takes several flags from various IP's to get a CL ad removed.  It is MUCH more efficient to click the "Repot Abuse" button and report the harassment via that channel.

I also replied on the general board.  I don't know why you posted this on the legal board.  Unless the harassment is severe, (and thus you have a trail of abuse reports via CL that you can refer to) I can't imagine what type of legal action you are envisioning?!  Even were this the case, AND you can prove it was this fellow - good luck getting CL to assist.
