yes, very disappointing. of course LV has been literally decapitated,more than any other city in the country. ... its very sad ..but there is no good solution.
Watching that interview was like watching Fox News. If she was in charge of our reopening Vegas our number of cases and death toll would be though the roof. Gov. Sisolak did a great job in shutting things down early and will not reopen Vegas again until the science says it's save to.

I can't think of more dangerous environment for getting infected! And I love Vegas, have visited 4 times a year for at least 15 years. sorry but Vegas is really fucked for a long time.
I share the sentiment and I realize it was in jest, but the sad reality is that they would have to be treated by health care workers who wouldn’t deserve to be exposed to that kind of stupidity.
And yet when she was asked how she'd handle the re-opening of the casinos in Vegas, she basically replied, "thats not my job, the casinos had better figure it out". Um hello, you want Vegas casinos to reopen but not even offer guidance on how to do so. Mayor Goodman, unless you have something knowledgeable to contribute on how to help Vegas during this pandemic, please dont do any more interviews until further notice.
Gov Blockhead did a terrible job. He closed everything without asking businesses what to do to keep their workers safe and the public safe. Totally illegal and unconstitutional move. There are a lot of public places open like stores, post office, etc. NO PROBLEM.
The Mayor is not in control of THE STRIP, CLARK COUNTY IS. so your comment about going through the roof is totally out of there.
