WTF difference does it make?....

You go stay there and meet people to satisfy your needs, not the hotel's. They just want you to book a room. They can give a fuck who you fuck as long as they don't get a call cuz you lost the key to the handcuffs or got your foot stuck in the toilet.

Don't ask...

But who gives a shit who they market to? You're a paying customer taking up space. Go with it.

Tasha mentioned the Platinum as being a good place to cook a meal.  I noticed that they advertised as GLBT friendly.  That's great.  I just wouldn't want to be the only straight guy there.  Talk about obvious being seen bringing a girl to your room.

They used to run ads on one of the hotel booking sites with a guy and girl sitting at a table, appearing to be in love.  They had another set with the same guy and the same table but she was replaced by another guy.  There must be a market, if multiple strip properties are spending marketing dollars directly focused there.

I am actually wondering if the property has a predominately GLBT clientele versus being "friendly" to GLBT clientele.  I am fine with the latter, but not the former.

I've stayed there many of times. its actually one of my favorite non gaming hotels. I've never noticed a difference when checking in or staying there as far as the ratio goes.  I'm sure every hotel has its share and mix of straight vs alternate life stylers.  as long as the staff is nice and I get the accommodation I paid for who cares :)

I have seen a mixture of people at this hotel the times I have visited. If you had not mentioned that the hotel is GLBT friendly I would have never known.Cosmopolitan advertised I do not know if they still do in the Gay & Lesbian newspapers. Why does it matter what the hotel advertises? You are checking-in and going right to your room.
I have seen many gents at this hotel with no problem.
I think you are over thinking this a bit get a room at the Platinum, have a hot Vegas lady come to your room, cook for her,and let her knock your socks off!See problem solved!lolBy the way at that hotel the lady can go right up
Have a fabulous Vegas trip!

Thank you everyone for your comments.  It sounds like the Platinum is my best choice for an in room kitchen.

I've stayed at Paris several times and never noticed any GLBT activity.

At least downstairs.
