Donna's not much of a gambler, but I am. Since there's a lot of great advice about LV here, I thought I'd ask something too.
It's been about 6-7 months since I've been over. And I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about where the good actions is? I play double-deck blackjack, baccarat, craps, and bet baseball. (I can even cook, too!
So.... Who's dealing deep, and who's got the best lines? And any other gambling advice about current condtions is always welcome.
casino.com .. click under blackjack ... from there you can go to las vegas blackjack reports from Captian Jack ... also venture into the complete archives for more information on all casinos and games (not just BJ)... my your hole card always be an ace .....
Most double deck games on the strip have table minimums of $25 or more. I prefer the off strip places - Rampart (my favorite), and any Station casinos have limits of $5 or more.
Mini-Bac: Luxor and Monte Carlo (most times $10 minimums). All other locations I've seen are $25+.
Craps: Sam's Town and most Station casinos have 10X odds but call or check out their web site(s) for details. I usually don't play craps.
Sports Books: Unless you are a premium member of Don Best's Sports Book (web site devoted to sport book betting) and are gambling with some serious money (5K+), it would be almost impossible to get a edge on the best lines. However, there have been some complaints with Station casinos especially Sunset Station (do a web search for articles on Las Vegas Review-Journal).
My favorite game is Double Deck and Double Deck tournaments. I won second place today at Rampart but would have won if that *&(*^*%&^*(& lady didn't get luck and split her 10s and got 20 on both hands (dealer busted). I lost by $225 ... BTW, those who keep track of my tournament playing, I did piss alot of players off today ...
I've played the Rampart tourney! And I've had two 20s on split tens there. But, it wasn't this week. If you remember a tall, big boobed redhead, who showed up out of nowhere about 6 months ago, and made the semis, that was me!
