Why do hobbyist arrange sessions with providers?  Isn't dating a bit more challenging to the ego?  I'm not trying to offend, just a sincere question.

Dating is complicated, and I'm not looking for a "date" per se.  I want to experience a little life before I get too old, and not risk my relationship with my wife.  This is safe and exciting.  And convenient.  No strings, no future expectations...I let you know how it goes when I get back (I go to Vegas next week).

Guilt.  Thats what it comes down to for me.  When I am unattached, and don't particularly want to be, its casual sex and I don't have to worry about the lady misinterpreting my intentions.Falcon

Because you avoid the normal girlfriend problems.  It's almost like paying the woman, so you don't have the problems after the "session".
