What are my odds for having a good experience from the Indys who advertise on Craigslist?  Some of them really look great.

I'm curious: why would you risk using someone with no website, no reviews and photographs that look to good to be true, when you can use one of the great, well reviewed indys on this web site?

Thanks for the info.  But, has anyone had a good experience and if so, with who?  I know they almost look too good to be true but there a couple that I am really interested in, like April.  I know she also works out of Chicago too.

Querty  is  100% right.  The Vegas Indys  are a well-reviewed, diversified group, and there are several outstanding providers there with whom you need take no chances, and you'll neither be disappointed nor ripped-off.

... Laci, who you just saw, started out advertising on Craigslist. (Still does, I believe.)

That being said, the caveat emptor factor is much higher there.

Some people get put off by $$$$$ rates for the top-rated indies and think CL girls are better. I am not convinced the tradeoffs are always worth it...but sometimes you will find a gem. Just gotta dig through a lot of rocks for it.

Bill,

I'm normally not at all picky when it comes to misspellings here on the 'Net, but the imporper use of "Indy" to mean "independent" causes MAJOR searching problems for guys trying to locate escorts in (or from) the Indianapolis area (yes, even here on the Las Vegas board). So please use the correct abbreviation "indie" in the future and help spread the word to others so they don't inadvertently cause this problem to perpetuate. Thank you in advance for your understanding and assistance.

As for your question, if I were you I'd cross-check anyone from Craig's List, looking for reviews here on TER and an ad on one or more of the major "escort mall" sites such as Eros, CityVibe, and Exotics before taking a chance on them. Remember, Las Vegas has many, many scamers and con artists posing as escorts (not to mention the occassional LE sting operation). These "agencies", cops, and grifters aren't above placing fake messages on CL.

But there are MANY reputible indie escorts in Sin City, so it shouldn't be too hard to find one or more who could meet your particular needs and preferences. I know several LV ladies personally, so if you wish to e-mail me (please don't PM me here at TER as I currently don't have access) I would be happy to share my knowledge and recommendations.

Regards,
Speed Racer

Actually, you are being a bit picky here. I think we all know exactly what the gentleman was refering to when he used the term "Indy" as opposed to "Indie". This seems to be a pet peeve of yours as you have posted before on this topic. I don't think we really need any search engine etiquette masters here. I don't believe any body else perceives this as a major problem. Maybe you're just trying to help. Just my 2 cents, sorry if it offends.

I agree to a point about CL, but Ive met about 10 ladies, and they were quite good. It requires a lot of screening. Of the 10 girls, 4 were already on TER, or CER. I also got some tips from discussion boards, and then I screened them myself, asking if they are incall or outcall. I dont use incall girls the first time. I also ask if they are one-price, all inclusive. If I see a blurred face, or duplicate phone#, I exit them. If you go to TER, CV, Eros, you are safer, of course. You do pay mostly 400 to 700 though. Ive also met some of the glamorous ones on those sites, and 1 o3 were pretty bad.

Indies, Indys, or undies? Who gives a crap. Everyone that reads this is "old enough" to know what the jest of the conversation is all about?
Dah. (lol) Theres gotta be something deeper & more interesting to discuss than semantics?

...people would stop misspelling it. It's NOT that almost everybody can't understand the intent of the author, it's that keyword search programs cannot distinguish context. You've probably never done a search for an escort here in Indianapolis, so don't seem to realize that it is a MAJOR problem when you search for the keyword "Indy" and get hundreds of hits because guys use that word improperly to mean "independent". And when this (or any similar) problem is NOT pointed out (often, ad nauseum), it tends to proliferate. Others see this particular misuse and think it's correct; then they often pick up and spread this bad habit, not realizing they are causing (and perpetuating) a problem for others.

However, in the interest of not pissing anyone off here on this forum, I will try to communicate with future offenders via e-mail (when possible) rather than replying to their post. BTW, I did try to answer this particular gentleman's original query in my reply.

I think that you should move.  We humanoids are creatures of habit, and will continue to make this faux pas for eternity.  I understand the hardship this creates for you, and I think that moving is the only viable solution.

I'll now return to my regularly scheduled task as the head of the LV Chamber of Commerce.

acidom,

Sure wish I could move to Sin City, but with all the fine indies in town (not to mention the legal brothels nearby) I'd probably go broke! Plus, the IRL dumped its race at LVMS a couple of years ago (citing poor attendance - which was due to an utter lack of promotion by the ownership of that facility). But I'll pass a good word on to Oscar (the mayor) and the Chamber of Commerce for YOUR promotional efforts!

Best regards,
Speed Racer

OK, what if people started using the word "Vegas" as a pseudonym for all "rip off agency girls" located anywhere in the country? Then we'd see a litanty of complaints when you'd get hundreds of irrevelent responses while trying to do a simple search for a LV-based lady. Would THAT be "boring" and would you still not care then?

All I'm asking for is a little common courtesy here, trying to educate folks to the problem they cause when they don't engage their brains before typing into their computer. Basically that and a little common courtesy towards others. Guess that's too much to ask in this day and age.

I attended the IRL race at LVMS, and enjoyed it.  I'm not fond of the track, but those cars made it interesting.

Going broke is not uncommon here, but what a way to go!  I'm going to check up on you with Oscar, so make sure it's a good word.

Actually, "Indy" is not a correct spelling for EITHER abbreviation:

"Indi" would be an abbreviation for "Indianapolis"
"Inde" for "independent escort"

I guess some silly people think "y" is an acceptable substitute for the long e sound for both words. Go figure...

For instance, there's the people over at indymedia.org. But there's no race cars there.

http://indymedia.org

Somewhat more seriously? I searched on the "other cities" board for "Indy"...and it wasn't TOO hard to figure out who was the independent and who was from or in Indianapolis, and both terms were used there.

But if you look for the term "indy" here...you find a lot of posts by Speed Racer asking people to use 'indie'. Oddly enough, none there. Huh.

I don't know what this all proves, but I sure am looking forward to seeing someone this weekend in Vegas who's an ind- er, not working for an agency or brothel and is in business for herself. I'm hoping she can get my tongue out of my cheek, since I seem to have lodged it in there pretty tightly with this last post.
