Not trying to stir up an hornet's nest, but just wondering if anybody else is as turned off by tatoos as I am. I can live with a SMALL tatoo on the ankle or just above a cheek, but those big tatoos on legs, stomach or arms is a real turn off for me. I just don't understand why a lady with a great body will add such stuff on such perfection.

There have been several providers that I would love to see, but won't because the tatoos are such a turn off.

They certainly have the right to do what they want to, but I just don't get it.

I'm not a huge fan either, but maybe they don't like my growing ear hair I don't pluck, or my fat belly, etc.

What a dumb post.

Tattoos have a variety of meanings behind them.  So more significant then others.  I enjoy the art and symbolizing behind most of them.  Sometimes the size of the tattoo is part of the meaning, for instance, a small daisey compared to a larger tribal.  Some depict strength within oneself and allow that person to feel strength when ever they view it.
I have no tattoos on my body, but one day I plan to have a full back piece filled with amazing, colorful, fantasy pieces, but until then I will have nothing.

I'll never understand why a gorgeous woman mars herself with huge tatoos.  Yeah, ok, a small one in a discrete place can be cute I suppose but the ones that cover her back/shoulder/tummy just gross me out.

I'm not a huge fan either, but to me it's more a moderation thing.  Think about that person that drinks too much, talks too much, etc.  It's not that I'm against food & drink, but sometimes it's just too much.

This is a petty complaint to make.  If you think the ladies do not like things about some of the guys they meet then you are delusional.  It could be your haircut, height, weight, facial hair, BO, beer belly, or personality.  They just soldier on and make the best of it.  I personally commend them for making each guy, or at least me, feel like they truly enjoy the time we spend together.

On a bit of personal advice turn the lights off and you can’t see the tattoos, and you can still have a good time.

I personally am not a huge fan of tattoos but they are not deal breakers also.  As with most things in life, the key is not to overdo it.

Now back to looking for hotties.

Great inkwork on a hot girl is great (have you seen AJ's recent posts/pic?).  Then again, it can be all wrong, or just odd (sorry Callista).

I always wonder, even though a girl has it right, lots of great color, in the right place, on the right bod, how does she look at her granddaughters 16th birthday pool party?  "My, my grandma, those are REALLY long stem roses!"

I can live with a small, tasteful one. But those huge ones are a real turn off. You're right, I'm sure there are some things about some of us that don't exactly turn a lady on....like haircut, height, weight, ear hair, etc.......but who's the customer here ?

Some people like them, too. Some people like particular hair color (even if it's out of a bottle). Some people don't. Some people like  breast implants, some people don't, some people like piercings, some people don't, blah blah blah, etc.

Apparently other people have different standards of beauty than you do, and there is no universal standard for it- so why is this in any way notable, that different people like different things? Exactly how hard is this to get, anyway? I'm just sort of puzzled that people think THEIR ideal of what is beautiful should apply to everyone else in the world, and can't fathom that someone else might not agree.

You are right that the guy is the customer.  The point is that there are little things that we all find unattractive about other people.  Either you find the lady attractive enough to make an appointment with or you don’t.  Don’t, however, come on here and insult a number of lovely ladies simply because they have a tattoo that you consider to be too big.  Otherwise some in our community may think you have ulterior motives.  The last thing needed here is someone trying to create drama.

I can personally state that a tatoo is somewhat of a reminder of a time /place etc. I am GENERATION X/better referred to as GEN X! i believe tatoos are sexy or can be repulsive. Now, i personally like the lower back joke -or "tramp stamp" , yes, sweet men !!i have one . Its more a reflection of an angel . It/she/the cherub also some have called the versace sign
has been my guardian angel. I have other"inK",
"tats" that I regret. you know the "Im eighteen and ill put boyfriends name anywhere he wants  lol ..I can understand the mens thoughts on there ideals on tatoos. Personally ,i have a father who is from the baby boom generation  and hes such a great guy(haha) that at the beach he asks me if im related to "pam anderson" and I say yup papa Anderson .i kid u not yes thats my maiden name "barb wire and all." some may find this opinion of mine :ridiculous, funny, stupid,or just simplyidle. Tatoos remind me of missing california and the issue began a train of thought I cant stop reflecting on..ps
does anyone remember what people thought of snowboarding and the Xgames(they thought that was a joke or repulsive) well shame on them NOW!!. well all the hotties and i am not only speaking of men. Also, women.work those hot bodies ,rock those tatoos with PRIDE!!my old website http://lovelylorena.rare-courtesan.com

I agree.  I'm not into chicks that have sleeves of tats on both arms.  I think a couple of well placed and well designed tats are cool......but too many or a bunch of jacked up tats all over the place is a huge turn off for me.

My 2 cents.

Personally, I am not a huge fan, but it isn't my decision, and it sure as hell isn't going to stop me from seeing someone who has one, or two, or a few. I know of one lady, LaRue, who I find absolutely stunningly beautiful, and her personality is even more so. She has some tatoos, and they sure as hell don't take away from her beauty, sexuality, intelligence, and sense of humor. THOSE are the criteria I look for when I am going to meet with someone, and not whether they have a tatoo. If you refuse to see someone because they have a tatoo, then trust me, you are definitely going to be missing out on ALOT of ladies, and some of us will be very happy to take your place. JMHO.

....while you are entitled to your opinion and preferences, nothing is probably going to change.  The ladies are entitled to do whatever they please.  Tattoos or no tattoos, implants or no implants, hair color, etc.....The only thing you can do is do your homework so you do get what you are looking for OR change your attitude on the hang ups....would you rather see a girl who has all 10/10's and a big tattoo or no tattoos and 7/7's?....

I remember you telling me of one lady who's tattoos got in the way of you wanting to see her.  I'll leave the rest of the story to your memory, or to a PM.  I still laugh thinking of the conversation, mostly because it almost stopped me too.

is the Air brushing and photoshop abuse .....
If you like tat's kewl and if you don't no problem either ....

What does the guy do that sees a fine looking lady on her website and she's either hiding her tat or has airbrushed it out of the pic ..... If he doesn't like tat's that first meeting could be a little tense or a deal breaker ....

So why waste someone's time .. maybe a Lady should mention that she has a tat or two during the intro process that isn't seen on her site ........MHO

but, as you see from some of the responses, some others do feel it's insulting as I do.

Also, I don't understand why someone with almost no posting history comes on a regional board and asks a question like that.  I'd think the general board might be a better place to ask to get a wider audience.  Or, are they looking to stir up some shit with certain individuals?

Does my handle touch a nerve with you? LOL.  No, you can't steal someone's cable.  I already told you before.

I have question for you ms/mr, why does someone like you only post on this regional board when you don't seem to visit at all? LOL.

Honestly 7/7 with no tatoos.......The big tatoos on stomach, arms or legs are that much of a turn off for me.

Probably my loss......but as you say everybody has their preferences. I just can't understand why a beautiful woman would put that kind of thing on what is already a great piece of art...her bodyl

Since you went ahead clicked on here, I will continue anyway. lol

Please, this kind of question is pointless. Like the lady who is out or your price range, move on to one who is.

If you do not like tattoos (and believe me, we do get that from you), then again move on and don't start attempting to change social beings. It is what it is, they are who they are.
