Whiny board hobbyists

This is NOT a knock against veteran board hobbyists; rather, it's a rebuke against inexperienced hobbyists who continually whine about providers not getting back to them in a timely manner during screening, or, not replying to them at all.

I've had the great privilege of seeing several of the top 40 of the "TER Top 100 Las Vegas Providers". I easily SAILED through screening ( yah, you must think me quite the contortionist the way I'm able to kiss my ass ). I've found these women to be be tops in looks, performance, personality & reliability.I'm sure many other hobbyists have had the same experiences.

But, yet, the whining persists. Why ? I think some of these hobbyists need a course in "Screening 101". I'm guessing that these guys flunk screening because of inadequate references, or, they simply act like jerks during the screening process.

Thoughts on all of this ?

There are brand new girls in the top 20.  They don't have pages of reviews showing that they are Consistently giving good service etc.

I agree with you Jaydalee...

It seems ladies who have been on TER for a long time and have Many pages of reviews belong and deserve to be on that list, in my opinion; and, Not ladies who are brand new with only a page or two of reviews...

How can a lady possibly be a 'top provider' in LV, when they've only been providing for a matter of months?!  Nonsense in my opinion.

There are many top tier ladies in LV who are not on that list and it just baffles me...??!

...it doesn't make any sense to me, and I am on that list (though I have proven myself in the last few years with many reviews)!...I suppose this topic is for another thread though!  :)

though I wasn't speaking of ladies who do not wish to be reviewed, or gents who do not wish to review...for they don't enter the equation when it comes to the list.
I'm speaking of the ones that do wish to participate with TER's review system; both ladies and hobbyists, and are therefore a part of this list.

Paying for VIP and using the search function is the best way, in my opinion, for a gentleman to find his "cup of tea" and not some list.

If you are new to the hobby and have no references and no verification from an independent site(p411,datecheck) then don't expect to be answered. If you have one of these, there is no reason you shouldn't expect a timely answer.  You don't know the circumstances of each case so don't judge. Be happy you  "sail" thru the screening and scheduling process that for others may not go so easily..

I have only been in the Hobby for about a year and I have not had any problems. I am a memeber of P411.  However when I first make contact with a provider (usually through email) I lay all the cards on the table up front. I give them my handle, P411 info and references with links. Almost 100% of the the providers thank me profuslly and sent an appointment promply.  I don't know, that just my strategy that seems to work.  Also I am contacting highly reviewed top 100 providers. That might make a difference.

Your approach makes things go a lot faster because there is not a lot of back and forth requests for more info. The gentlemen that use this approach will for sure get a response but if some guys are using "Hey,are you available?"don't be surprised if you do not get a response. Some guys it is like pulling teeth to get info from them and some ladies might decide they do not want go back and forth especially when their requirements are on their site. Then some of those same guys want to know why they did not get a response and have to complain about it later.

While I do not think it has nothing to do with if the provider is in the top 100 provider list or not.As long as she is well-reviewed with good reviews I am not on the top 100 list but I am well-reviewed and prompt in my responses to appointment requests. There are a lot of good quality ladies that are not on that list but will provide an awesome time just as well as the ladies that are on the list.

The top list means absolutely nothing.  Many high ratings do not even adhere to TER ratings standards as you can easily tell by reading the reviews.

Plus, there is the constant game of paying for reviews with behind the scenes discounts, favors, long standing relationships, etc.  It's been really rampant recently.  Most experienced hobbyists know that little game.  It's the non-experienced who fall for it.

Ladies are culpable as well for screening snafus.  Things would go more smoothly if ladies actually state what they need from a screening perspective in their ads or on the websites.  Saying something like "screening services or provider refs" doesn't really tell hobbyists what ladies are looking for.  In this case do the ladies accept P411, DC, R2K or some combo the 3?  Must all screening service members have provider ok's?  What exact info do ladies need for provider refs?  Is a TER screen name with some White List refs enough or do ladies need the date, time, location, phone #, etc. of the clients' appointments with referenced providers?  The possibilities are almost endless.  Clients can't be expected to be mind readers.

Ladies should also state expectations regarding how long it will take them to reply to inquires.  Some ladies get back to clients immediately while others take 24-48 hours.  It'd be nice to know who's prompt and who's not.

Being a jerk often goes both ways.

there are many top providers who are utr or not on that list that are equally good.. btw some of the top 40 are very strict at screening and doubt you will sail through with just references.

having pages of reviews do not mean anything as girl can be as good with fewer or zero for that matter. Not all hobbysts review and not all girls wish to be reviewed(even the good ones)..imho
I agree with you that such list is useless and hobbysts should not base their decision on that.

For those of us where it is CLEARLY spelled out on our websites, you'd be surprised at just how often, the info received is not complete. From newbies AND well established. Ladies can't be expected to be mind readers either. Going through a situation as we speak where we are on our third round of emails. On our second, I said I needed to know a date, time, where he is staying and which session length he wants. All I got back was a week time range and where he will be staying. FFS! Because that's helpful. And that happens more frequently than not.

As far as that ladies should put a response time, there are a lot of variables that can affect response time. If I have friends in town, if I am fully booked for 5 days straight, sick. What would YOU like for us to say??? Should we update our websites with every little thing that changes our productivity? Just curious.
A lot of ladies do explain very clearly on our websites what we require and sure enough we still have to go back and forth.I even have had guys say I read your website what do you require for an appointment?Well,if you read the website you would know I just kindly state what I require again and the response is half of what I asked for.I just do not get it sometimes it's not hard but some people can make it that way. Also, there is another side to this topic what about the guys who provide info for an appointment the ladies reply back promptly and we get no response. No sorry I have other plans,my trip was delayed,or some other reason just no response at times it gets frustrating!

I ignore e-mails for so many reasons.

Such as:
- If a guys asks me to send him photos (unblurred or otherwise)
- If a guy asks for a discount
- If a guys says "I just want (some sexual act), how much?"
- If a guys uses the wrong name
- If I can tell he sent the same e-mail to a lot of girls
- If he says he saw my ad on somewhere I do not advertise
- If he has e-mailed me before and seems like he's full of BS
- If he the e-mails just asks "Are you available?"
- If something about his e-mail just seems funny
- If his e-mail address is "[email protected]" or something similar.

Sorry, boys - GENTLEMEN ONLY!!!!!

I feel that you 2 are in the minority.  And since you have clear websites, you have a right to complain.

My point about response time was about setting expectations.  If a provider says she'll get back to me in 24-48 hours, then I'm not upset if it takes her 36-48 hours if I really want to see her.  If I know that a provider has her emails forwarded to her phone and she doesn't get back to me in 24-48 hours even though she's active on the boards during that time, then I know that she's not interested in seeing me for whatever reason.  If I keep waiting on the 2nd provider to get back to me, then I'll miss out on other opportunities.  Pretty much, I want providers to tell me whether they check their email several times per day or just once every day or so.

Olivia, if you are booked for 5 days straight, I think the considerate thing to say in your replies is that you're busy with [insert reason] and you aren't taking any new appointments on those days.

Jayda, I would bet that guys don't respond because they either got scared or decided to see someone else.

And despite always reading everything on a providers website, filling out a reservation form completely, and having some pretty good references, there are still some providers who simply will not respond. At all. And some of them are on the"Top 100 list". Others are outstanding in their communications: Samantha Sommers, who has responded in this thread, is a perfect example of a provider who has a clearly defined website and responds quickly. There are many others who are just as good.

Issues like this are not just hobbyist or just providers. There are guys who send inappropriate inquires, or don't provide the proper information. Just as there are providers who do not communicate what is required, or simply decide not to reply to an inquiry at all. There are plenty of guilty parties on both sides.
