Hi All,

Long time lurker, first time poster on the L.V. board... I usually hang out on the L.A. board but am visiting your fine city for a few days.

So, this evening I was walking off a late dinner in my hotel casino. As I passed one of the several trendy bars, two girls standing just outside the door caught my eye. Surprisingly, one smiled at me and started chatting me up.... Long story short, 500 for one girl and 600 for two girls.

This was near the main lobby, outside the main bar, just across from the hotel newsstand, in the middle of everything with throngs of tourists passing in all directions!

My first thought was LE. My second thought was ROB... (They offered to tuck me into bed tonight... LOL.)

I was tempted. But I was dog tired after driving in from Yellowstone and frankly, my taste in providers runs to the kinkier side (read my review of Tasha). That’s not to say these girls weren’t hot. They were 8’s at least. But, I just couldn’t see it happening tonight.

So, was I crazy to pass? Or, was I crazy like a fox to walk away from a bad scene? What would YOU do?

btw: any recommendations on providers who are a little kinky (but not too hard core – read FS) are appreciated.

I myself too am a long time lurker of several boards. This too is my first post/response.

To answer your question I would have walked away too. You had a 50/50 chance of having a great time or something bad happening. It isn't worth the risk. Not when you can find so many wonderful ladies WITH reviews on boards like these. In my opinion, taking risks for no reason is foolish. Some people don't mind the risk [in fact some people get off on the risk]. I tend to use these boards to try to eliminate the risk as much as possible. I am one that doesn't get off on the risk. I actually get very anxious when thinking about getting robbed or scammed, etc.

Play it safe and do you research. Just my 2 cents.

... talented non-TER "bar girl" types (plus a lot of "weekend warriors") DO exist out there, but the service level is often subject to negotiation, and you never know if it's LE or ROB- it's often a complete gut check. But hey, it's gambling in Vegas, right?

I've gotten propositioned this way myself. Almost always, it happens when I've got something better lined up, so I thank them and politely decline. So I'd say you made the right call.

Also, Ms. LaRue McCay and Ms. Nina V are likely to be up your alley if you like a little pain with your pleasure...

WWJD?....thats right he would have checked out TER if there was such a thing and made the proper desion as to when and where to spend the time,thats right...anyways w/ out reviews,a proper website w/ out all the correct links and fixxings and if I was a guy[I always put myself in your shoes] I would do the research and find me the correct date for me.Besides once the clothes come off,what do they realy look like underneith would be my worry if I were to pick up some chicks at a bar.I would want to see pics on a providers site of what they look like at least in lingere,if not some nudie pics...

I think you made a wise decision personally.  Not to say it was "to good to be true" but most of the time it is, especially with a bar girl.  This is why I enjoy seeing you, because you are wise and very intuitive (sp) LOL.  I hope to maybe see you up in Reno this week and if not continue to enjoy your road trip sweetness!!!

I think I might be a little confused on what you are saying. Are you saying that you can get a better feel for what a girl looks like naked by looking at her pics on a site vs seeing her in person at a bar with clothes on? If so, I totally disagree. Pics are often munipulated on websites whether they are naked or not. Also, even if a girl has clothes on at a bar and the bar is dark I would be able to tell what I am working with. I don't think Woody was questioning whether they were hot or not[he said they were both 8's atleast]. I think he was referring more so to the risk of getting robbed, arrested etc.

With all of the legit independents of different shapes, sizes and colors here on TER, venturing upstairs with one or two unreviewed strangers just isn't a good idea....just too many variables, and possible traps.  You made a good move by passing that opportunity.

Just kidding. Gambling only makes sense when there is upside potential. There isn't any in this case. Carpet girls aren't looking for repeat customers or word of mouth referrals. They have no incentive to do anything beyond the bare minimum they can get away with. 500 bucks? Only someone who is totally unaware of the sure things that are available in this city for that rate would be dumb enough (or drunk enough) to go for that.

In L.A. we had weekly newspapers, LAXPress, LASun, etc. that cost 5 or 6 quarters and were only sold in news racks in the seedier neighborhoods. They had ads - and only ads - and no reviews and usually no pictures. You had to call and try to feel out how reliable - and independent - the person on the other end of the line was.

Not that I've been hobbying for a long time or anything...
