What I don't get

I would appreciate the ladies opinions on this one.

It is much easier for me to purchase a Visa/MC/AmerEX cash card with my credit card than to access cash.  How do the ladies feel about receiving a cash card vs. cash?  I certainly understand the recipient's need to verify that the card amount is legitimate; I am not sure how to best handle this.

Please, your thoughts/ideas?

Card(s) are still in original  packaging and there is a receipt and able to verify the balance right then and there.Inbox me if you need more info!

I'm sure this is what she meant by original packaging, but to be clear, do not rub off the little silver thing to check the balance, she'll do that when you hand it to her.

I accept cash only. I do not accept money orders, cashiers checks, gift cards. Just cash.

...and to this day, have never had an issue.

I accept AMEX gift cards as long as the gentleman provides the original receipt along with the card.  Funds are funds, and all spend!

Also, I pay more than my fair share of taxes, so I do not worry about a paper trail.

Hugs and Kisses,
Kelly

I don't mind receiving non-cash funds, especially in the form of a deposit.

I haven't met many patrons who are that concerned about cash but I do understand the complications...this is why one of my options is a gift card from Lowe's or Home Depot as I LOVE home improvements (working on revamping my master bath for the second time in four years!) and new and better gadgets.  Still waiting for an amazing dishwasher to beat all dishwashers!  (any tips on that are greatly appreciated!)

If a client is worried about his paper trail, I figure the home improvement stores are a bit more "acceptable."

And I, too, pay my taxes!  How could I not, being a self employed business and property owner?

Cheers and XOs,

L.

Thanks Nightfall for the clarity Dont remove  the silver scratch off the card is worth nothing to me if that part is tampered with..

Then we go back to the barter system...

I only accept cash unless you are a very long time client whereupon gift cards or direct deposit.

Regardless whether some ladies accept them or not, how is it "easier" to purchase a cash card than to access cash?

Not sure this is his problem but I have found myself making a last minute decision to see a provider and ATMs have a limit on the amount you can get in a day - whereas my credit card has essentially no limit.  Cash requires some planning ahead.

Couple issues, one is if the amount needed is fairly large it can be a pain to get outside of banking hours.  Second, again if the amount is in the 1500-2k range and you do get it out of the ATM (bofa will allow large ATM withdrawal limits if you ask) that many 20s is a really unwieldy stack.  Third if you have a SO at home and because of the appointment time and amount you have to acquire it the day before, you can stick the card(s) and receipt in your wallet.  A stack of 150 20 dollar bills won't.

Not saying everyone has these issues, but they're the ones that come to mind

You can withdraw 2k-4k from each ATM inside Vegas' casinos, but you will need to get your bank to raise your limit. If there's 5 ATM in a casino then you can get 10k to 20k in each day. If it's 1k-2k withdraw then you will get all 100s. I have found cash IS king. It's accepted by almost everyone.

Not saying i know anyone that would do this, but perhaps gift cards are easier to write off as a business expense. "client gifts" etc.

put cash away every week in a safety deposit box until I need "fun" money or a trip to Vegas for a LOT of FUN.
