Has anyone done the racing at Vegas speedway? Better yet is it a fun thing to do with a date? Not sure how much time you would get to spend with a provider.
Thanks

I have heard good, fun things about it and have always wanted to go out and give it a try.

I've done the World Class Driving and also Dream Racing.  Both are a blast.  Took the same gal to each and she happens to be a phenomenal badass driver.  And oh yea, the post-race reward ceremonies were off the charts!  I've got a new definition for "Gear Head"!  Jest sayin'....

There's a new track about to open down by M.  I hope to try it out this Spring

I've tried their simulator when accompanying a friend that was interviewing some of the staff for a magazine, but never got to ride the cars.  I surely agree with OI_Desperado, I believe that the adrenaline rush  would make the post-race celebration even more exciting.
I would love to do so with a nice date ;-)

is always on the itinerary.  They give you a class on how to maximize your lap times, and then you ride with an instructor.  Lots of great cars to pick from.  Be sure to get the video of yourself - split screen showing you and the road out ahead.  I usually take the three-car package.  Its about a grand.  One car packages are $250-$400.

If you're taking a date, tell them upfront whether you want to drive at the same time or separately, so they can schedule it that way.  If you drive at different times, there is a raised roof platform where each of you has a good view of the other out on the track.

TIP:  When you sign up, only take the minimum package of five laps.  You can buy extra laps when you book, but if you buy them when you are checking in, you get two for the price of one.  Its a huge savings.  Enjoy.

I second Spring Mountain in Pahrump.  I race SCCA T1 (basically show room stock with slicks) and it's a blast.  Spring Mountain is a great track, and the facilities are top notch.  Plus, Ron Fellows runs a Corvette performance driving school there.  No matter what you think of the Corvette C7, having Ron Fellows team show you how to drive a high performance car makes you a better driver in any car.

I'll be out there on 18th and 19th of April.  Any of you special ladies want to stop on by

I've raced in Las Vegas, however never in an exotic.  Bucket list!
