But assuming both type of parties are equally stressful, I think the more casual option is probably best. For one, it should ensure a higher turn out and fewer last minute no-shows.

I thought the AVN M&G earlier this year was perfect. The price was a bargain, the setting fun and casual, and everybody seemed to be having a great time. It wasn't too formal, but it also had both structure and comfort. Something like that would be ideal.

But again, whatever is the least complicated for you.

Since I know who is under this alias  Yes I have a good memory.  I would love if you would come!!!  HOWEVER, due to past track record, I won't hold my breath LOL.  But yall are more than welcome to any of my parties.

So it has been brought to me that we can actually have a more high scale party this time around.  Private residence, DJ, fully stocked bar, heated pool, as well as catered food.  But with this comes a catch 22 of course.  

So I was wondering ladies and gents.....would you rather have a more relaxed automosphere where there is no door fee and you pay for your own drinks or food.

Or would you prefer a more private setting, with all the food and drink you can handle but the men have to pay $50 at the door and the ladies have to pay $20???

I would love to hear what everyone has to think even if you don't plan on attending.  Would you have a problem paying the door fee if you were a male or female??

Tasha, whatever you decide is fine...Thanks for stepping up....AGAIN!!  I doubt it's feasible, but there should be a way to collect that cover charge in advance.  Certainly don't want the ugly NSNPCUS scenario!!

Is people RSVPing, and then not showing up.  Or people saying they don't mind paying and then last minute saying they can't.  I don't want to leave a ton of people out because of a mandatory fee.  I would much rather have more ladies and gentlemen come and enjoy than a few at an exclusive venue.  Although we've done both and enjoyed both!!!!

So hopefully people will chime in.  If you don't feel comfortable leaving your opinion here, please send me an email to [email protected] with your thoughts.

Tasha you do such an amazing job and (SOME) people don't understand all the work that goes into these partys! I personally could not put one together. They are time consuming and very stressful!
 I would attend both parties. I would also pay a cover, (20 to 25 at the most) as well. It all depends if its worth it. Too MANY people are cheap and they should understand that its takes money to put these things together, Nothing is free.
Oh and we need to get together Tasha! I miss your beautiful face!

She's a Zombie specialist, Gore specialist, Liquid latex specialist, all movie effects quality. She's s licenced esthetician with  credits including direct-to-video b-horror films, make-up artist at Christie's and one-of-a-kind Prize-Winning costumes. I'm trying to get her to some to Vegas.

Could you imagine being a cartoon character with complete body make-up with accurate cartoon colors? Or a sexy naked alien with no nipples or belly button? Or extra nipples! She can make a lady into a hermaphrodite for the night.

I can't believe it the stuff she creates.

But to answer your question, you seem to get a lot of people who say they will attend and then don't. That is unfortunate, but it is also going to happen if you charge or not. Maybe charge a small fee to cover munchies and charge for the booze. But if I was going to be in town, I would't balk at paying $50 to come to the party. It is really worth it!

I would attend both parties and would gladly pay.  And I prefer upscale and private so people can come wearing only body paint w/ accessories, or not, hehe.

Fuck a bum Philadelphia.  This sounds like a fantastic event, worthy of my bucket list.  I come to Vegas in march, I would plan around an event like this.  I would pay $50, compared to any club fee anywhere, but would rather pay more for a more upscale event, the ladies should not have to pay, if anything they should be reimbursed for any expenses they incur attending, travel, costumes, nail, hairs, sitters, shoes, breathing,  it's the little stuff that adds up.  The organizers should get something as well, at least leave out a tip jar.
