Having been cancelled at the last minute numerous times by well reviewed ladies in the past, I feel that I need to do the foloowing to insure that I will have an appointment:

Either book 2 ladies for the same time or request that if a lady has to cancel that she help setup an alternative. Ladies,what are your thoughts on this?

I can certainly understand your frustration of being cancelled on at the last minute and not being able to set anything up in that small time frame.However,I would not suggest booking with two providers and then making the decision at the last minute and then having to cancel on the 2nd provider.
Unfortunately,things happen on both sides of the coin providers get cancelled on by gents at the last minute as well.Sometimes,the excuse is valid sometimes it is bullshit.
A similar post came up about cancellations not too long ago a few people replied just because a provider is well-reviewed does not mean she will not be a flake.I agree with this comment.
I wonder if you are indeed picking well-reviewed providers because you said this has happened to you on numerous times.
You just never know a gent can only hope by reading reviews he gets an idea of what he should expect being good in the sack and being a good business person is two different things.

I do not think a gent would appreciate having a provider confirm a certain day and time for an appt but she has another gent that wants the same time and day.One of the gents in the scenario I described is going to be cancelled on by the provider is that fair?No,it is not fair which is the same as what you are suggesting booking with two providers in case one has to cancel wonder if one does not cancel?
Now,a provider has set time for your appt and she is cancelled on because you decide to go with your first choice.That would not be good if you would like to see the 2nd provider in the future and believe me providers do talk and a gent who double books might have a hard time in the future securing an appt.

I have had a gent do this to me in the past double booked but I did not know at first he double booked he gave me some bs reason for having to cancel same day.Fast forward months go by he contacts me again for an appt.I look at his references and can see the day he cancelled on me he saw a provider that day.
I will never see this type of person!
Some providers who have to cancel have offered alternatives or maybe a recommendation of a friend that could see a gent at that time.But,I do not believe anyone is obligated to try to find a gent a replacement if that does happen that is a nice touch.

If there are providers you are interested in ask if she would not mind pre-screening you in advance before you arrive in town.Let her know you do not know your schedule so you cannot confirm an appt.
That way if you do get cancelled on you have another provider or two that already has verified you.
Or you can look to a couple of the reputable agencies here in vegas and inquire with them about pre-screening.

I require a 50% deposit to book.  I will not get flaked on again, so I understand your frustration.  I respect your time & I only cater to to those whom appreciate mine as well.  Sorry, but not all top rated provider's cancel.  I for 1 do not plan on flaking, or canceling because I cherish my fun time!

Just because you have been stood up at the last minute, does not mean you should do the same thing.

Of course it happens, and no doubt its very annoying, but that does not give you the right to treat other providers the same way. they were not the ones to cancel on you.
Besides, there may have been legitimate reasons why they canceled.

If your on one of the verified sites, you should be able to set up another date relatively quickly, depending on the time of day/night.

I think your backup plan should be one of the reputable agencies and/or one of the screening sites. I know if I'm available I will do short notice and I'm sure there are other ladies that do as well.
If you double book, a lady is reserving that time for you and may have to turn down other appointments, which is an impact financially.
One other option, book a double and if one cancels, you are still covered.

good reason and im sure wont have the time to call around or email if there is a death or she is ill or had the car break down or got in a accident .

These are all things that happen to all of us.I think having a agency as a back up is you best bet just incase .What if both of  the girls you booked show up? Automatic duo im guessing .

Do NOT double book! You then become what you dislike. Plus it will eventually hurt your reputation.

Here’s some things you can do to improve your odds.

1) Choose wisely, Read up on and study your potential choices. Beyond looks and performance, factor in your perception of her professionalism. Read reviews and her website. A website that is thorough and full of details indicates someone that exhibits more responsibility than average.

2) After you are screened and booked, stay in touch but do not be an email pest. The worst thing you could do is book a few weeks out and then never connect again. Before you leave home, by email, ask for her communication preference once you get to town (email, text, call). After you arrive in town drop her text or call, just to let her know you’ve arrived safely and are looking forward to seeing her on so and so. This short communication can help both her and you.

About back up plans, realize that eventually something will go wrong.

3) Schedule your appointment towards the beginning of your stay. If things go south you will have maximized your time to set something else up.

4) To help with rescheduling the same day, book as early in the day or evening as possible. The worst thing you could do is book a session for 2 am on the last night of a week long stay.

5) When researching, pay attention to whether she offers prescreening. This is where she will screen you without a specific date and time set up. Some will, most won’t but look for it. The good agencies will usually prescreen. Having one or two choices for whom you are already screened has its obvious last minute benefits.

6) Join one or more screening services. These will screen you in advance for a nominal fee. Again, during your research look to the lady’s website for the screening services she uses. I know and use Preferred-411 and Room Service 2000. Date Check is another popular one. Room Service 2000 is popular in Chicago and the Midwest but becoming more popular in Vegas. Many gals will accept just the screening service while others still insist on personal and recent references. In your research of a possible plan B or plan C, take note of their screening requirements.

7) Try to keep a discreet but handy list of information you would need for providing screening information. (web and email addresses, phone numbers, etc.).  

Try a legal brothel.  There are always plenty of available ladies right there in the parlor.
