So I shot new pics last summer with the intent of redesigning my the look/theme of my website, but the final year of graduate school being more laborious than I expected the undertaking fell by the wayside...

I have a totally new look for my website that is finally all set to go, its more upscale (and probably more mainstream, with the dark colors, blurred images, etc)  but I am really questioning the change... I like my quirky, brightly colored simple website and I guess I feel if it's not broke why fix it (even if it doesn't really match the look of the new pictures)?

So I guess my question is- how memorable is a provider's website to you and does the look of the website itself determine if you would book with her or not

The websites are second to good reviews.
some great providerd just have preferred 411 pages.
There have been kess tban great providers with first class websites.
Good reviews and a preferred411 fact page is good

Vegas is different than other markets.
The trend nationwide seems ti be trending toward short and sweet
Vegas the bigger the better.

Many providers have low end websites which have templates with no info.
Time to pass.

as long the website is informative, up to date, and a fair representation of the provider the actual look and design really wouldn't sway my decision either way.

A website needs to be up to date ,accurate and complete as possible . You don't want the reader left guessing . Within reason ,of course that's what reviews are for . For example ,some providers say they are couple friendly but don't provide price per hr for couples . In My opinion , that info is more important than how the website looks  .

Those provider websites that open a pop-up Ad!!   So irritating!   I understand that it's because the provider website is otherwise "free"....but IMO it's annoying and while it's not necessarily a deal-breaker, it doesn't help with the "warm snuggly" feeling either!     Jest sayin'......

That "rant" being said, yea a professional informative web-site does matter!!  But it's just one parameter of my decision matrix.

I've yet to meet anyone more intelligent and hilarious in this industry and your instincts have always been pretty spot on.

I think even if the look is different your personality comes through in the website text, and that's the connection people are trying to estimate before ever booking someone!

XOXO,
Kylie

...it can be the difference between booking a date , or not. I like a professionally done website. It shows a level of commitment on behalf of the provider. I am attracted to women who I perceive as truly enjoying what they do. Clearly, money is a huge factor. But I am always in search of that person who I believe is enjoying their craft, and a good website definitely helps convey that.

Your web site should be about you, not about "Have an Affair Today-dot-com" or "MILF's Seeking Sex-dot-com."  I like it when a girl spends a little money on website hosting so as to have a site free of ads.  And all it takes is a little money, website hosting is not expensive.  To me, that shows commitment.

Also, make the photos easy to get to.  I don't like it when it takes 5 or 6 clicks to get to a photos page.  It doesn't hurt to have a photo of yourself on every (or almost every) page.

I have a difficult time booking a provider who does not have a website.

A website:
tells me a little about her personality
provides a level of comfort, I don't believe LE will go through the time/effort to construct one
the photos and comments on the website get my juices flowing prior to a meeting
tells me a little about her expectations for client

Do!
Make the site easy to navigate.
Make the info, Esepecially, the photos, current.
Do Not!!
Music. I hate this.
Make me register. For anything.
Use cute words/phrases, for the catagories of ingo. Just give me straight info.
Put a calendar page, on your site, if you do nothing with it.

Won't really effect whether I book with you.  As others have mentioned, it's the pictures and content that matters. Are all my questions answered either on your site or TER profile. I've seen many relatively new providers who didn't even have a web site.

I absolutely love your website.  Your unique touch says a lot about your character.  Every time I visit your site I get an intense urge to book a flight west just for the chance to meet someone with your playful sense of humor and fun.  But alas, I've promised myself not to take a hobby trip until I reach a certain health improvement goal.  Dieting sucks.

Should be a direct representation of who you are.. How you "Brand" yourself.

as with any business your marketing should be number one priority aside from the actual work you do..
Why do anything in life  1/2 ass / Nothing against original poster (ccc) your very intelligent and a great question to ponder.. ..

I put a lot of time into being on top of my 'A" game why would I want to display myself in  a way that I wont  reach the clientele that Im harmonious with?

This is just my 2 cents on the website discussion.
Nothing towards anyone or anyon'es website

Everyone is different.. that's what makes life so awesome!!!

I agree with Lorena too!
Guys are also visual, so I want them to visualize me in the best way possible :)
Las Vegas has some ladies, many in fact, like Lorena's or Chloe's just off the top of my head, who's websites are exceptionally beautiful and well done.
It's competitive out there! In my opinion websites are money well spent!

So yes most guys go by what they see on a provider website too.

Also it would be nice to see all of your new pictures now, instead of just a preview back in June 2014.

You could always ask a friend to update your website.

Since you are busy with school.

I wish you the best in your final year of graduate school!

an independent approach to  business in the Hobby. I agree Lorena, its fun

They can gain attention. It is a "branding" tool. Unfortunately the website pics and written materail is not always a fair representation of who you are meeting. It is an intelligent marketing method. Boards, reviews, communication are better ways to actually find out who you are meeting.

Unless I've met somebody in person.... Great pics get my attention and then I hit the reviews to finalize... A crappy site with crappy pics isn't going to help out in my book.

I think for all of us that have been on here for at least a couple of years.... there was a certain somebody (whose name can no longer be mentioned) that changed things up on the Vegas boards with a great website and pics. Really elevated everything and along with that.... came higher prices. (UGH!)

Probably would have never booked time with her and some of her friends at those prices if it wasn't for their very well designed sites / professional pics that caught my attention to begin with...

People are visual in nature...

And I certainly can't ever remember having a bad experience with a provider who put the thought and time into creating a great website...

It's very important! Think about it, all the work that goes into your appearance to make a first impression. In my case if the website appears to be cheap with no real thought into I feel the provider will follow suit.

I believe a web site is as important as the reviews.

If we have not met you already, then your web site is how you make us want to meet you.
Others mention branding, but it all comes down to your grabbing our attention.
It is where you get our interest peaked to a point that we call, text or email.

Once men get passed some shared basics, we are different and what I appreciate may not be what another wants at all.

Your web site is our first opportunity to me the person you want us to meet.
Some ladies go for the sledgehammer approach.  Some men want that.

Others ladies, while still being clear as to what is available, do it with class and in a way that intrigues us to want more.
Take the time and do it with finesses that tells us the story you want told.

Basics:
As noted, the web site must be clear. The pictures should be recent and absolutely no advertisements.

I hope this helps

To me, I like to see websites 'freshened up' every once in a while. I've been coming to Vegas for 15+ years, and have been visiting various providers for most of that time. Every time I come, I look at TER and check provider websites.

If I see a provider that hasn't updated their site in 5+ years, I tend to be a bit wary of them. I wonder if the provider's appearance has changed, if their services/prices have changed, etc.

if not a whole new website, I think you should make a point of at least updating/changing photos and other basic info on a regular basis. Stagnant sites tend to make me move on to someone else.

That said, I'm hoping Carly and I can figure out a time that works when I visit in a couple of weeks. I've seen her a few times, and would very much like to work it out again! :)
