Suppose you are flying to, I don't know, Oakland or Fresno.  On Southwest.  Well, that plane damn well better be there on time.  Cause dammit, you've got to get to Fresno.  To go to the widget plant.  To do quality control on those widgets.  Cause the world needs widgets.  You poor bastard.

Now suppose you are sitting in a train station.  Or on a dock.  In some exotic country in South East Asia.  Waiting.  The train or the boat or whatever will get there when it gets there.  Staring at your watch and sighing will not make it get there any faster.  When it does arrive, you will get to go someplace remarkable, someplace you might not even be able to imagine.  

Complaining about the fact that the train was late kinda misses the point entirely.  Bring a book.  Enjoy waiting on the dock as part of the experience.  Enjoy the journey.  You lucky bastard.  

I've heard that getting together with Nikki can be challenging, and have found that out firsthand.  But do I fly to Fresno first, then take the train to the dock and get on a boat?  Where does the boat go?  Is Nikki waiting at the other end?

I know that I'm a bastard, but I don't feel lucky.  I'm still waiting.  Nikki, are you there???  Did I take the wrong damn boat?  Arrrrgh!

I've been one of the lucky few who have had the joyous experience of being with Nikki when she made time in between appointments that couldn't make it due to their own delays. Wow. My advice, guys, is to be patient. Nikki Avalon is worth the wait and more.
