TER has heard your comments, and I have stepped up to become the new mod here in LV.

I'm not going to try to change the landscape here, but I am going to be afoot, refereeing the cat fights, shutting down the blatant shilling, and trying to keep a modicum of decency and civility here.

If you take a look over at the DC board, you can see the way I moderate and how everyone over there is pretty well behaved.  

I do like the rules that TER has instituted, and may well be pushing LV towards them, but I'll give a free reign to the posters to let me know what they like and dislike.

Please feel free to PM me with your pet peeves, or any other issues you think I should know about - the latest chest thumping between hobbiests, the latest cat fight between providers, or what kind of posts you hate.  I am all ears.

We'll try to behave, but we'll fail.  Just so you know what you're up against.

Can't speak for everyone else, but I'm partial to the ladies being indecent.....knowwhatimean?

Welcome! I was in the TER chat room earlier today and someone from the DC board said they have a good board and I should check it out.

This was one of the best places to go for a daily soap fix and now all of the drama will be gone. Oh well, there is always Atlanta.

Good luck with the board.  From what I've seen of the DC Board, this is a very positive step in the right direction for LV.

I haven't been difficult to anyone for ages! Was this a blanket move, or did I piss someone off somehow?

   Just keep in mind "good behavior" by Vegas standards is...well, just like... no where else.  

   Most here are fairly thicked skined (some softer than others) and, for the most part, all are just having fun.  Why we're here, right?

...that they were using screening software, probably typical to what companies use for scanning resumes. I have not seen any problems, messages have been going up in under 2-5 minutes for me.

I thought the MOD Squad had finally caught up with me.


Now if they can just get rid of those horrid time outs and delays during page refresh, LOL.

DC board has always been a great board, and with RCProNo1, have come back for a second tour of duty there, that is one of the main reason.

Little Phil described himself as an "antagonistic asshole" in a post a bit further down. I was playing off of that in my reply to him.

The personality of the board is all about the posters that are active.
