I've been receiving threatening emails from a holy-roller (fundamentalist Christian) who is obviously insane and possibly dangerous. I was wondering if any other ladies are being harassed too. "HAVE FUN IN HELL!!!!" is in the subject line and the email address is [email protected]. I can't resist a theological debate and at the time I thought that I was dealing with a misguided but sane person, so I made the mistake of responding. I must have shaken the foundation of his/her belief system a bit because their response was straight out of a horror movie with violent descriptions of "wh*res" being mutilated and burnt to death at the stake. If you've been targeted by this person too please email me.

... you would have to take a number behind many, many fundamentalists.

Besides, we all need to work on our tans.

Hey babe, I think there is a way to track down where his email came from. By IP address. Your provider might even be able to get that info.  If you need any help let me know. I'll kick his ass for ya. :)
I got a room at the same hotel. can't wait to see ya!

You might try notifying his ISP. Most have contacts for this sort of thing. [email protected] and [email protected] are two.

Hi Nikki,

I'm so sorry you're having to deal with such a person.  This is someone to be pitied, not feared.  He's hiding behind an e-mail alias, and attempting to bully a female, which I find loathsome.  Ignore all of his e-mails and he will go away and find someone else he can get a rise out of who has violent opposition to his views.  Indifference is the only way to handle him.

He will never know the love and joy you and I, and people like us, get out of our amazingly strong sexuality and the guiltless freedom that allows to enjoy it fully.  I truly feel sorry for people like him.

Keep rockin' girl,

Jacksonlips

Not only should they be feared, If you find out who it is you should find a way to press charges if possible, These people run around unchecked to long they do have it in them sometimes to hurt others.

Never got such an email .......or maybe I have and I deleted it ......well I get tons of BS stuff and with a subject like "Have Fun In Hell" I wouldn't even bother to keep reading .........Don't worry so much about it , just ignore , delete ............ it's not like he can come knocking at your door . These type are usually blah blah all talk in an email .........oh yeah like we are really scared we will burn to death at the stake or burn in hell ........ if that was the case then I am suppose to be long gone !! LOL LOL LOL

Don't worry , be happy ;-) Keep enjoying life and bringing joy to the world *wink wink*

My advice is to completely ignore these emails.  If possible, set your email program to automatically delete the emails before they appear in your inbox so you never see them.

He (or she) wants you to respond - that plays into his/her psyche and fuels his/her attention.  Complaining to Compuserve may just infuriate this person even more which could be a problem.  If you ignore him, eventually he will stop.

You're too smart, beautiful, incredible, (I can't even think of enough adjectives to describe how wonderful you are)etc. etc. to waste your time on this nut case.

I really appreciate everyone’s advice. I don't think he'll be bothering me again.
I googled his email address and found his name, then googled his name which led me to his profile (complete with photo, profession, hobbies, bad grammar)on...are you ready for this? A mail-order bride service site. He's shopping for a beautiful Russian bride! Hmmmm...Now suppose he does find his lovely bride (or someone who is desperate enough for a green card) and he pays the $10,000. Wouldn't that make her a...well...in the same profession as me? LMAO!!
On a darker note I'm sure that I've seen this guy before and since he's a taxi-cab driver , he very likely knows were I live.
I'm hoping, for his sake, that he isn't stupid enough to step on my property because he'll find himself staring down the barrel of my .44 Magnum.

I'll remember that Slimroot. This sage advice could only be from a criminal lawyer. Or is that redundant?
Please forgive me...I just couldn't resist!

Actually where he falls doesn't matter. What matters is that you dont shoot him in the back and make sure he has a weapon in his hands. There or 5 conditions that have to be met before it is justifiable homice. I have been out of the armed security buisness to long to rember them all. How ever on the most part they are 1) intend to do bodily harm 2) capable of doing bodily harm. 3) no way to avoid it.  If you want to know for sure. just walk into a gun shop that teachs gun safety and they will tell you.
