Just wondering, you know, for future reference.

I had a friend coming to LA from Miami. He had a connecting flight in Vegas to LA. His flight was delayed in Miami so he missed his connecting flight in Vegas to LA.  
He called to let me know what happen and that he wasn't coming in that night so he was staying in Vegas. I didn't believe him but heck that was a great excuse.
