I will be back in Vegas for a business function, which takes place at the South Point Casino...this is off the strip,it  looks nice ,however, i have a question: Will most medium-high end providers go to this place?because it's not on the main strip?...Hobbying is my main hobby while in Vegas!
I'm used to staying on the strip, and don't know if I should commute back and forth, or try this place?
Any insight will be appreciated

After &pm they do check keys so you will have to meet your treat downstairs.

It's very nice.  Actually, is on the strip.  Just south of the main part, MBay, NYNY, MGM and soforth.
I've stayed there 3 times.

They deal a terrible game, sweat out winners profusely, and will back-off any sharp player in a hurry.
As for Hobbying, you should be fine, but, if you travel about 3 or 4 miles south, you'll run right into M Resort, which is priced the same, but much more upscale, with several great restaurants, and much nicer rooms (I've stayed at both, and it's not even close).
