... it is more of a "voyeur" scene here, then it is a swinging scene. Now don't get me wrong! I am all for watching ... and being watched. :-D

Have been to the big 2 a couple of times (Red rooster - Green door)with gentlemen, and unfortunately each and every time we were the lone "couple" there. Male "watchers" seemed to be plentiful though, hehe.

And this was during the recommended times to be there. I really have no plans on going back again. In my opinion your best bet would be to book one of our lovely towns duos, and have your own swinging fun in your room. :-D

I fully agree.....

I have been to the Red Rooster twice and when the DJ went to spinning the Village People (YMCA) it was time for me to leave. The decor of the establishment needs a MAJOR overhaul. Honestly, I was afraid to take off my shoes never mind getting naked and playing. The place needs to be spring cleaned several times.

The first time I thought hmmmmmm maybe that was just a really bad night for them. So to be fair I went back and got creeped out by the sausage fest. There were WAYYYYYYYYYY TOO MANY single guys and the ladies were all doing the same thing I was doing...paying the coat check girl so we could get the hell out of there.

So far my best play dates have been dous, or going to private parties.

I will NEVER go back to the Red Rooster ever again in this or any of my next lives. Not interested in the cooties.....or the Village People?

The DJ at the Rooster had on a sequined 3 piece suit, his hair is in a bleached blond over processes stringy something (mess) and HIS WIFE HAD ON THE MATCHING DRESS....with the same over processed bleached blonde hair.

They got on the dance floor and looked like John Travolta trying to do his old dance moves in the year 2050 (nothing smooth about that)

I was sitting in utter disbelief....looking around like: Does anyone else think this is a mess? Am I the only one who is aware of this being 2010? Did I flash backwards? Are 3 piece sequined suits back in style? When were they ever in style?

.....first, (not the part I will be sorry about)
I've been to the Red Rooster a few times in years past when it was way out in the desert.  Each time leaving with the vow that I'd never return.  Just didn't like to feel grouped in with the lurchers and yes, the atmosphere is so ancient it's almost worth going once as a lark.  Mike should have upgraded years ago while the Rooster could still crow.  But, for some it's good, still.  More power to them.

When I went there the DJ was a Neil Diamond look alike.  I personally don't like Neil's stuff and can't imagine wanting to look like him.

Now for what I expect to catch some hell about. ..........Smarty, I'll admit to watching that whole video link of the BeeGees (is that how you spell there name/) and, I know I'll be dating myself here.........that said I would 10 times rather hear their beat and harmony than the OTT loud Hip Hop and Rap and tweaked out scene I've run into in the few modern clubs I've been in the last few years.  Give me a room, a bottle, a girl or 2, or have them come to my house and I'm Happy.

....too old to be thought of as a "Dude"!

IMHO

I'd don't even fit into that category being easily within 20 years behind him.

Now, MP, that might be a different story!
