Social media

Social media has become part of our lives and I know a lot of ladies use instagram and twitter to primote themselves.
I would be interested to hear both sides on the use of social media before, during or after a date.
I follow quite a few ladies on twitter and instagram and have seen posts ranging from the following:
* a sexy photo of the date before she is going out
* a photo or message that is sent during a date.
* a wrap up message to say had a great date

My personal view is that I don't mind the before or after postings but would prefer for the lady to not post while on our date or even worse to reply to posts during a date. I feel this is my time and have heard many people complaining about this in today's society.

Happy to hear thoughts

This is the second post I've seen where the ladies have infringed on your time. Make your time interesting while you're with them. Bring the chains, unleash the monkey from the closet or fire a joint with them (only kidding but really I'm not). Keep it lively, get out of your skin....Chicks are bailing on you early and texting on your dime...screw that shit!
And if I'm out of line then.......ahh screw it, I'm grumpy and tired.

I would like to clarify, this is no reflection on my bad fate posted earlier, but rather a general question on having information shared pre , during or after your date that refers to the date you had. I have had enough regrets since my date, dont need these added.

Social Media and phones should not be present during any moment of any date, unless you are googling to find a fun spot to hang or to listen to some music.  It's rude.  I don't like when people are engaging in social media when I am right in front of their face.  My focus is on whomever I have chosen to spend my time with, whether it is in my professional or my personal life.  I am 100% present, because people I want to be around deserve my time, attention, respect, and care.  Common sense is not common, and money can't buy class...sad, but true.

Well stated Samantha... Anybody with any class will put away the phones during a date and only pull them out if it's for the things you mention.

I can understand when somebody glances down to make sure it's not an important message from the babysitter or something along those lines, but actively engaging in texting, tweeting or FB'ing when you are with somebody is tacky

Call me old fashioned but I would prefer for activities on our date to remain private and not to be shared. Also, would be very annoying for the phone to be buzzing every 5 seconds as someone replies to your tweet or message. A nice touch could be after the date is over to see a tweet about a nice evening she had.
Phones should remain out of sight while in company of your date.
