I had a bad experience at Nine, haven't been to the others.

My friend told me it's not that good, just so so.

SW Steakhouse
Gallagher's at NYNY (surprisingly...my expectations were low and it far exceeded them)

I like the Golden Steer. Old school Vegas gumba food and you might even run into a mobster.

The best steaks in the world, IMO.

I recently went out to dinner at SW Steakhouse ...my 3rd time dining there and it was very delicious as usual!!! What made this most recent time stand out from the rest ...was the AMAZINGLY kind waiter we had ...altough everyone else was kind as well!!! BUT ...he overheard me saying that I have 2 BIG beautiful dogs and he came out and handed me a HUGE bag of bones & atleast 4 steaks all nicely wrapped and packaged ...free of charge!!! Being a HUGE animal lover that I am...I was shocked & awed at cried when I got home when I saw everything that he gave me for my doggies!!! Now that right there ...is going above and beyond!!! I will be forever grateful!!! Just wanted to share ...

Vic and Anthony's downtown is my favorite steakhouse in Vegas.

1. SW Steakhouse (seated on Patio)
2. Prime (cannot go wrong here)

3. Country Club at Wynn (seated outside viewing Golf Course)

Must see:
Bartolotta (Wynn)
Eiffel Tower
Jaleo (Cosmo)

If your interested in the history of Las Vegas, and looking for a great steak, you wont do better than the Golden Steer.

Its been open since 1958 and anyone who has been anyone in Vegas history has eaten there.

I ate there this past May and sat at Joe DiMaggio's  table.
Our server has been there over 30 years and served Tony Spilotro a few days before he was beaten to death by the mob. He even had his own room there.

You can see the tables where the Rat Pack ate, as well as John Wayne, Monroe and loads of others.
The food and ambiance was also fantastic.

Moreno's at Palazzo was a great experience. Just took a UTR date there last month. Great food service and ambiance.
